These shortcut buttons on the soft touch panel for Long coffee, Doppio + and Cappuccino which mean you can create any of these coffees simply by pressing the button. How often a coffee machine needs to be descaled depends on how often it is used and the hardness of the water. Check the instructions in the "Preparing milk beverages" section on page 16 of the manual and adjust the milk frother dial accordingly. It would be handier if the dispensing area was higher up with a longer retractable coffee spout so that pretty much all cups would fit.
