I have never read anything by Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue before but I am officially consumed with this series! I think he probably grew the most and that’s got a lot to do with Gwen herself as she made him a better person. At the end of it, I was agonising and rushing and just not even sure if I liked it, and at one point was literally breaking down, and I couldn’t even tell you why. I had a specific story in mind for years that I couldn’t workout because it literally had five lead characters ( Raven Queen’s Harem – about a ‘murder’ of raven shifters).

THIRD READ: this book has its problems and annoying stereotypes but the grip it has on me is embarrassing 😭😭 out off all the hs bully- enemies to lovers- this is one of my favourites.

Noticed the 4th book in the series is about Heston, and apparently he gets WORSE in the other books. Being their lady is not only about fancy clothes and reputation as she finds herself under their mercy and also their protection. You don’t get to know them too much, but enough to know I’m excited to read the next books in the series. Gabe Fuller might be Savage River High’s class clown, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s a villain in disguise.

The H in this story has been raised a certain way, and as a teenager I cut him major slack for the elitist bullshit. He’s finally done something so entirely unforgiveable that it’s easy—easy as breathing—to level him with the same cold hateful stare he's giving me. Her works are known for their sexy, angsty situations and heroes who make for some very intriguing series. That was enough to mark my siblings and I as different; born out of wedlock to four different dirt-poor, uneducated, addict parents, and worst of all; my twin siblings are bi-racial, so it’s not even like people can pretend. Emory turns from Campbell to smirk at the exiting Northridge boy, their palms meeting in a congratulatory high-five.

B: the whole situation with Sky, I know the kids have rough backgrounds and that may reflect on their later behaviour but I find it highly excessive that she went from a fight with her boyfriend, to doing what she did. Still reeling from the events that decimated his family and haunted by his past, he struggles to keep a handle on his fragile sobriety. Everyone knows Gwendolyn and Hamilton are enemies… what happens when the whole school finds out their secret? Hell Hath No Fury…The mark that Heston Wilcox made on Preston Prep was more like a wound that took ages to heal.

The one person I've trusted despite all his secrets has shattered my faith, and the men around me have proved just how unworthy they really are.
