That was then highlighted with a mix of purple, brown and grey, to dull out the browns previously washed over them. And for a final highlight I mixed in some ivory into the the last step on the skin. And this is the result. I made a couple of other changes, like removing a lot of the larger oval shapes, which helped to slim the legs. Removing the oval shapes took a lot of effort, as removing the larger ones will reveal holes. After I filled the holes with green stuff, I took 7 to 8 passes with liquid green stuff and very fine sanding paper to get it perfectly smooth. And even then it still slightly shows in some places.

For 'purplish' scales I could use Dark Reaper->Violet/Crimson-> not sure if I would Highlight with Warpfiend/Slaanesh or Calgar/Fenrisian Genestealer Purple– A deep, rich shade of purple that would pair well with Stegadon Scale Green. Purple is a cool, mysterious color that can add depth and complexity to a color scheme, and it would help to offset the warm, earthy tones of Stegadon Scale Green. Genestealer Purple would be great for adding highlights and accents to areas painted with Stegadon Scale Green, helping to give your models a more otherworldly, alien look.
