Carbon fiber in footwear is nothing new and is now being used heavily by brands like Nike, especially when it comes to performance running. We're glad to hear your VKTRY Performance Insole experience has been great thus far, let us know if there's anything else we can do to make it even better. When holding them side by side, Vktry feels like a metal plate while the standard shoe insole feel like soft construction paper. Normal insoles are primarily made of cellulose paperboard, a flimsy, sometimes spongy or cushioned foam-like material. This is our most common complaint and the easiest to remedy with a free exchange for a new pair that will be less rigid and more comfortable.
After several attempts at custom insoles and over the counter insoles, I finally found the ones for me in the VKTRY Gold. As the weather has warmed up and I'm back to playing golf and walking 18 holes, I purchased 2 more pairs of inserts for my golf shoes.

Having this high-tech product inside your cleats makes you feel like no one can stop you on the field. VKs come in different levels of flexibility because a bigger athlete generates more ground force than a smaller athlete.I did feel a slight increase in my vertical, but was very uncomfortable to the point where my feet went numb. I purchased 4 different running shoes (Nike, New Balance, Brooks, and Altra) and the insole wouldnt fit in anything. I’m looking forward to more intense exercise and activity but couldn’t have gone there without the results from the insoles. Once I broke in my VKTRY soles, my driver swing has increased to an average of 104 mph, with a high of 107 mph.
VKTRY Insoles are designed to be highly personalized based not only on shoe size, but also based on body weight. In 2005, our founder Matt Arciuolo began working as the Certified Pedorthist for the USA Olympic Bobsled and Skeleton teams. I swung the driver at 105 mph and without any additional speed training I reached 110 mph as a senior golfer. It's important to note that VKTRY Insoles are also proven to protect from injury, and no governing body would have it in their best interest to ban something that's proven to protect their players.While a higher Pro Level may provide more spring, it’s very important that you are able to comfortably flex your feet for the insoles to be effective. Lately have been suffering from arch pain, especially when wearing cross over shoes like Jordan 1 Golf shoes.
Carbon fibers “have several advantages including high stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. Had seen many ads for the VKTRY insoles and thought with the carbon fiber plate and arch support might help these to be usable in both areas. However, they are relatively expensive when compared with similar fibers, such as glass fibers or plastic fibers. Unfortunately, I don’t have automated timing systems and did not do a thorough study (multiple reiterations, placebo insoles, etc) but from a few sets of each drill was able to compare using the insoles and not using the insoles to find my speed increased slightly in each test!We recommend that you select the shoes you will be wearing your VKs in the most and choose that shoe size when selecting your VK size. I wouldn't recommend it if you wear mercurials and would assume this would be the same with other tighter-fit FG boots. I switched them out to my original golf shoe insoles and my feet felt horrible and my toe even worse. Our VKs fit most foot types and sizes, but if any issues with comfort after trying, please contact us.
