Maybe in a decade or two when the inevitable revival of the Toys to Life genre comes, we can get a truly amazing send off or even a new start for Skylanders. These Senseis lead the Imaginators, and involve in helping them to unlock their abilities, techniques, weapons, and level-cap. Eventually collecting every toy got to be a bit much on my adult wallet so I took a break for a few years after Superchargers came out, so I never got to play this last Skylander game.

Kaos is still an endearing villain even though his goals remain the same, Invader Zim’s voice will always be music to my ears! Skylanders is its flagship, a colourful platforming series with a now gigantic selection of stylised action figures to import into the game.The success of amiibo still show that there is hope for the toy game fad to be more than a fad, or at least for skylanders to out live the fad, and I want skylanders to be something I can go back to with out feeling like a man child for doing so. This game is riddled with the other problems in the games, which if your familiar with the series you already know. On top of all that is character level progression, which is locked to how many Skylanders you actually have in your collection. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Activision has announced Skylanders: Imaginators for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, which is set for release – we think – on 14th October in Europe and 16th October in North America.

Aside from his bizarre speech patterns, Crash himself is great fun to play, complete with his goofy run animation and trademark moves, and Cortex gets just as much loving attention to detail, with some of the best lines ("It's my celebration too! And finally, while I liked that the story gave us characters from the older games, the fact that the stakes really weren't high at all this time around (especially after "Superchargers"), and the lack of a really satisfying ending really ruined the game's extremely bland story. I’m tempted to say this is probably the longest and toughest skylander game of them all, don’t get me wrong the game is still very easy, but compared to the rest of the series, I actually lost a couple of skylanders in some fights lol. It soon becomes frustrating to traverse a stage and hear the announcer declare in a booming voice that only bowmaster types can play this shiny new minigame that's just begging to give you more items that you so compulsively crave. The final cutscene ends and you’re thrown back into the game, no credits or fanfare or anything lol. Now, you must use the power of your imagination to create your own Skylanders to battle in the ultimate adventure alongside the almighty Senseis to save Skylands.
