About this deal

This is a fantastic place to watch the sunset in Paris, but be sure to secure the date and time slot to visit the Eiffel Tower asap, as tickets to the summit sold out pretty fast. Another way to save a significant amount of money on your transport costs in Paris is by walking instead of taking public or private transport. Adding these select few attractions into our itinerary allows us to save money while also giving us plenty of free time to be spontaneous and discover the hidden gems of the city. Luckily, Paris isn’t short of accommodation options and hasa range of family-friendly hotels, Airbnbs and even historic luxury boutiques for you to choose from. We don’t think it’s particularly controversial to say that Le Marais is the best place to stay in Paris.

Gare du Nord is where the Eurostar train arrives and departs for London, and Gare de Lyon is the main station for travelling south (including the TGV to Italy). where you’ll find cobblestone streets and a former village on a hill above Paris that has since been swallowed up by the ever-expanding city.Citadines Saint Germain des Pres– Views of the River Seine, and again, one of the cutest Paris neighborhoods! We planned to head to Le Marais neighbourhood for dinner, and I do recommend this if you have the energy.

Some of Paris’ top luxury hotels, well known for their great facilities and amazing interiors, also come with the best views of the Eiffel Tower, especially beautiful during its night show. Make sure you head to the tiny second floor and grab a seat near the window, looking out to Notre Dame.

It’s clean and comfortable but the rooms are small and the WiFi didn’t work in our room (request one with a better signal). It’s also home to the best covered food market in Paris (Les Enfants Rouges), a couple of excellent public parks (we like Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris), and some of Paris’ most famous museums (Picasso, for example). Lunch and dinner at most restaurants will cost between €12 and €20 per plate, although expect that to increase if you’re looking to visit one of the 119 Michelin star restaurants in the city. As I mentioned, there’s a cute cafe on every corner, but there are two of Paris’ oldest and most famous cafes on a special corner right across from each other. Honestly love how her solo adventure changed her life for the better and even found romance on top of that!
