Along with Monopoly Money, there are hotels that players can only find in the vault, plus 4 locked properties. You can unmortgage that property by paying the unmortgage cost (always higher than the mortgage sale) so that you can collect rent. Many of these use their own unique version of the Monopoly board with local street names from that country. These include not only big cities like Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow but counties like Cornwall, Lancashire and Yorkshire and even small towns like Maidstone, Oundle and East Grinstead.

The Scottish edition of Monopoly was launched in 2001, featuring a board themed like the Scottish flag and Scottish towns and cities for each of the properties.Now, those countries all have their own versions of Monopoly, but the British version using the London properties remains the standard one for the UK. After closing the vault (and refilling for another round of riches), press this yellow button 3 times in succession to lock and to set a new code. For properties in a complete set you own, collect the increased rent for each property without a hotel in that set.
