About this deal

Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, I absolutely love making bath bombs for gifts and, of course, for my daughter and I. Her favorite is still this little fizzy mermaid bath bomb funbut I always try and one-up myself. Mica is a natural stone that has shiny flakes in it. It is made into mica powder by finely grinding into powder.

Press the molds together tightly. Allow the bath bomb to sit in the mold for at least a few minutes, although a longer time would be better. Mix together the baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch. Make sure that they are well blended before moving on.

On the other side of the mold, add blue, then green. Then mound the yellow on both sides of the molds (about a 1/4″ excess). Firmly press the two sides together. Wipe the excess mixture off the sides and set it aside. Here’s an easy bath bomb recipe for children.
