Determine whether you’d like a kettle made of stainless steel, which doesn’t rust or stain, or one constructed from heat-resistant borosilicate glass. Lastly, we cleaned each kettle following the manufacturer’s instructions and noted any stains on the outside and buildup on the inside. You can use white vinegar, a well-known agent, to clear limescale build-up on stainless steel and electric kettles. Mix one part white vinegar and three parts fresh water in the kettle. Bring the vinegar and water mixture to a boil, and allow it to stand overnight in the kettle. Then drain the kettle a few times with boiling water to ensure there are no lingering odors. The kettle comes with a reliable product guarantee. The top is easy to remove but is prone to fingerprint marks, while the finish on the kettle's body is fingerprint-resistant. That said, it’s relatively easy to clean even though the opening is tight for somebody with larger hands. The exterior finish has a beading effect on water, making clean-up and drying easy. Overall, this kettle provides fantastic performance and style and is a great choice for everyday use. This is a highly functional kettle, but a downside we found is that the lid can be difficult to remove. It's certainly more expensive than average, but we think it’s a worthwhile splurge, especially because of its durability and the brand's five-year guarantee to cover manufacturing defects.
