We love testing and talking about massage guns and we’ve heard, not infrequently, from our readers, about how sometimes it’s not easy to choose between Theragun and Hypervolt devices. I wanted a longer than 5m cable and I wanted it tethered. The Hypervolt only comes tethered, but unlike most it has options for longer cables. Pretty much all of the other tethered units are 5m only option. It’s possible to use a longer cable with an untethered model, but I didn’t want to pluging in twice. The longer option on the hypervolt let me put the charger in the optimum position and not worry about which of the two parking spaces at home I park on. The cable can reach and not be a trip hazzard. Lastly slide the front enclosure (C) onto the unit and secure using the four M4 screws supplied in the box. A small amount of pressure will be required on the front or the front enclosure to line the holes up. The Hypervolt GO 2 is the iPhone SE of the Hyperice family; sure, you can get the all-bells-and-whistles flagship model, but do you need all the features it comes with? Or are you better off paying half as much and getting a massage gun that's not too bulky but does the job just fine? Hyperice isn’t known for making massage guns with solid motors. In fact, their first device had a mere 35lbs. of stall force. They did make the Hypervolt Plus a bit stronger (about 45lbs.) but incredibly weakened their Hypervolt Go device. Connect the power cable to a suitably sized protective device. The Hypervolt takes a maximum load just below 32A. Consideration should be given to if a 32A or 40A device is used based upon the operating environment. A 32A device may run too warm and trip out prematurely over a long charging period if it is between other loaded devices. The Hypervolt must be on an individual (not supplying other circuits) A Type RCD double pole device. If an RCD is used an additional MCB (32A or 40A) will need to be included for overload protection.
