And, in terms of psychological theory, the attributions of "plagues" throughout the book are more that a little upsetting. Judith looks out at the world and sees a whole lot of damage that her Rainbow Bridge theory is going to fix. People are repeatedly described as "plagued." I don't understand. Is this psychology? Also disclaimer (? I guess): The notion of chakras doesn’t weird me out too much. In fact, I quite enjoy the visualisation and the idea of opening up the body in certain ways through a practice that has been followed for thousands of years. In particular, the discussion of the first 4 chakras in this book was great, enlightening and I followed the just of it quite well. It’s for this reason that I decided to write this article. My hope is that it will serve as a guide to others on a similar spiritual path, weed through ‘junk material’ and invest in chakra books that are really worth the read. They put negative thoughts in a loop and believe they are more real than what their heart says because they believe their heart is not a reliable barometer. I don't like the use of the word 'need' here. It's great to learn about chakras and it can definitely benefit to your life but to say you NEED it... idk about that.
