About this deal

If they improve the remote receiver (the E50 is notorious for the narrow angle where the remote works) this would make it a viable option for use with a vintage amp for me. Analog Interconnects: Audio Art Cable Copper Cryo OCC XLR balanced (2 pairs), Audio Art Cable E2.2 Cryo XLR balanced, Audio Art Cable Copper Cryo OCC single-ended (2 pairs).

you compared e70v with Yulong Dart Aurora? Which one is more musical, melodic, natural…? I have e70v+l70 + Edition XS. After about 36 hours, the sound improved noticeably and became very pleasant and clear. Fully agree with your review! The E70 has balanced XLR outputs and single ended RCA output which you can select as XLR only or RCA only or Both for different applications. The XLR and RCA outputs also have a selectable voltage out (XLR 4-5 volts and RCA 2- 2.5volts) this is to meet a wider range of needs. In addition to the DAC mode with fixed output levels the E70 can also function as a preamp. In this mode you can control the output as you would a normal preamp by adjusting either the front panel knob or remote control allowing greater flexibility. Widely compatible ▶️ Newest XU316 supports DSD512&PCM768kHz ,USB input of E70 has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10, Windows 11, MAC, Linux, IOS, Android can be plug and play. A driver is only required for Windows ASIO applications. The optical and coaxial input of E70 supports up to PCM24bit192kHz and DSD Dop64 audio, which is suitable for digital turntables, disk players, set-top boxes, and game consoles, so that traditional equipment can also give a new sound. TOPPING has announced numerous superior DACs, including the D series, and E series, all of which play very well and get many high-praised! And this time, TOPPING updates its E series and invites E70 VELVET to be a new member! From what it is named, E70 VELVET is an upgrade version of E70! As noted though, as you reduce output, the analyzer noise becomes more dominant as well so above is not a true picture of the DAC's performance. Both these Dac sections sound great and the differences lie in that indescribable sense of musicality which takes shape and color most notably. However, the E70 seems more impressive on that first listen and wins over those who like large three-dimensional spaces with an extra splash of resolution. A bit of this review will be a copy and paste from the E70/L70 review since the only real difference here is the sound performance of the new AKM DAC being used in the E70V. The Topping E70 has 7 internal digital filters. There’s a total of 7 on the PCM side but DSD has its own 4 separate settings. As I scroll through them all I could barely notice a difference between them and I think this feature is there for those who like to tinkle with nuances in audio gear or measure them electrically.Topping welcomes the all-new E70 Desktop DAC to its catalog of premium desktop DACs. Powered by the ES9028Pro flagship-grade Desktop DAC, the E70 promises unmatched high-resolution audio signal decoding support. In combination with the 3rd generation XMOS XU316 USB processor, E70 supports high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 audio signals. It features a brand-new I/V conversion circuit. E70 can also be used as an ultra-low noise preamp!! Premium Flagship-Grade DAC Chipset:-

The E70 uses ESS SABRE flagship DAC ES9028PRO. ES9028PRO has a 32-bit 8-channel HyperStream II architecture. In the application of E70, every 4 channels are connected in parallel as one channel, achieving high performance and high sound quality at the same time. A brand new I/V conversion circuit is designed for better quality audio reproduction. The unique circuit design provided lower distortion, lower noise while occupying less space. You can expect these DAC & Amps to present you with a refined listening experience. The audio quality exhibited by these DAC & Amps is a beautiful mix of musicality, technical brilliance and high precision. But the iFi Audio ZEN One Signature DAC takes a different audio path which consists of an XMOS processor tied to a Burr Brown Dac section that runs off a custom firmware. The USB input of the E70 has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10, 11 and MAC, Linux, iOS, Android can be plug and play. Only Windows ASIO applications you will still need to install drivers and set it up. The USB hardware is based on the newest XMOS XU316 and Thesycon custom driver, which is stable and reliable option. The imaging capabilities are quite good here. They’re smooth as butter and far as an accurate panning. This DAC produces a 3D panorama and a soundstage that seems to punch way above its retail price. So it seems the E70 is best in fidelity production through its USB input although the 24bit/192kHz bit rate capability is nothing to laugh at. I would probably use those optical and SPDIF inputs for a cable box or TV output as it seems you could comfortably use the E70 in a home theatre setup.

Distortion is incredibly low at -145 dB or so. SINAD as a result is dominated by the noise of the DAC combined with my analyzer: The topping E70 is capable of running LDAC, AAC, and SBC plus all the aptX variants including Low Latency and Adaptive. The feed works over a BT 5.1 radio and common protocols. Connecting the two with a 3.5mm 12v trigger seems to remove the necessity of having to use the rear power switch on two units often, enabling the user to turn on and off both units using one single remote control or with one touch of the front panel. As I mentioned earlier, proper setup of the E70 Velvet requires you to read the DAC's manual, which will help you get the best sound quality—especially with native DSD files. Preamp functions like volume control, input selection, and balance control are provided should you require them or choose to use them. The E70 V seems to be as much directed at headphone users as it is for use as an audiophile DAC, and the preamp functions allow for easy integration with a headphone amp. That said, I'm using the E70 in an audiophile setup with a dedicated preamplifier, which makes those functions redundant, so I either disabled them or simply didn't use them during my evaluation. Which was strictly for use of the E70 V as a digital to analog converter in a relatively high-end audio system.Customers are to bear the consequences and fees incurred, if the parcel was undelivered due to any of the following situation:
