Lumene, a Finnish skincare brand that launched in the UK, will launch a beauty advent calendar for 2022 after much success with past calendars. The 24 Nordic Beauty Treasure calendar includes vegan mini-sized skincare and makeup products such as Lahde NORDIC HYDRA and Valo NORDIC-C. It’s available now at John Lewis, Lookfantastic, AllBeauty and will be available September 2022 at Feelunique and Feelunique USA. Getting a head start on your Christmas shopping can be one of the most satisfying things to do – especially when it means you can snag a bargain at the same time.

Then we have one of the biggest disappointments… a spoolie and three eyebrow stencils. Two of which are absolutely identical, and the other is thinner than the handle of a spoolie, so I’m not sure anyone would be using them. Then we have the Real Techniques 402 Finishing Makeup Brush, which is considerably smaller than the full size version, and the bristles are nowhere near as soft either, which is a real disappointment. It will be available soon at Bluemercury. The next item is the Real Techniques Makeup Removal Cloth. It’s basically, a circular version of the Makeup Eraser, or Face Halo, and can both remove makeup, and gently exfoliate the skin, with just water.It's also a really fun way to countdown the 25 days in December and treat yourself to a little pamper along the way.

Next in the Real Techniques Advent Calendar 2021 is the Real Techniques Exfoliating Cleansing Sponge, which is very rough like a scourer, but it is a full size brush. I definitely wouldn’t use this on my face, as my skin’s so sensitive and reactive, but it’s not a filler product, it’s something they sell. Wow! Revolution continues to drop advent calendars this year, and I’m not mad at it because each one is lovely. This 12-day calendar is a fun one and includes makeup and tools that are all “The Grinch” theme. You’ll find a lip gloss, a cute shadow palette, mini brush set and even a Grinch headband. It’s available now at PrettyLittleThing and PrettyLittleThing US. Next up is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, the original sponge, in a pastel pink colour. Thankfully, the sponge is the same quality and material as the original, and it’s not at all disappointing in any way. This year’s festive dark blue and gold theme advent calendar from Atelier Cologne is just as beautiful as their last one! This calendar wants your to “Follow The Path of The Stars” this holiday season. It contains 24 full-size and mini treats such as travel sprays, leather cases, hand creams, body lotions and candles. Contains fragrances from their unisex collection like Clementine California, Pomelo Paradis and Oolang Infini scents. It will be available October 1st at Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Sephora, Brown Thomas, Selfridges and Selfridges USA. These are all so great, and will make great gifts. It’s a cardboard calendar, with twenty-five perforated doors. Many of the doors are too small for the products, and there were days I weren’t able to extract a gift from the door as the gift was larger than the door. Next up in the Real Techniques Advent Calendar 2021 are a plain, silver coloured stainless steel scissors. It’s these scissors which I had to use to get the products out of the calendar with, and they broke by day sixsteen, so they’re not the best.
