These bags are also made to last, which is greatly appreciated in a modern age where most things seem to be built to be replaced.

Women’s specific harness and hipbelt - Designed for women, these features enhance comfort and flexibility. With a sliding torso adjustment and multiple options for the exterior compression straps but not hip belt adjustment, we ranked the Kyte average for adjustability. The Kestral (Kyte) is more stout than the Talon (Tempest) but I find that my Talon BP is quite durable. What I did not like about the Kestral was that when you filled the zippered compartments on the sides the contents expanded internally which reduced the volume the the main compartment. I found both BPs to be comfortable to carry and well ventilated. You also get sleeping pad straps at the base of the Kyte 36 that, as the name suggest, are really useful for attaching bulky sleep mats, or they can be completely removed to reduce weight if not required. An adjustable sternum strap helps to equalize the load and features a built-in emergency whistle.You can also reach the main compartment through the separate sleeping bag/pad apartment. There is a divider here that can be removed if you want to make the main compartment bigger. There is also a zippered sleeping bag compartment at the bottom. This helps to keep your sleeping bag nice and dry throughout the day. Above the sleeping bag compartment are straps that you can use to secure your sleeping pad.
