The leg rest is as expected. Seems solid enough, but not the most comfortable for a taller person. It supports my calves. I don't intend to sleep in the chair, but I can see it being comfortable enough for a 5 minute nap when my eyes get tired of staring at the screen. One observation is that the arm rests are not height adjustable. I guess I didn't read the description well enough, instead only focusing on the fact that I liked the curve and padding of them, vs the thin, harder flat option of the X-Volsport.
