About this deal

In Windows 7 and Windows Vista, it's a bit faster to enter command in the search box at the bottom of the Start menu and then choose Command Prompt when it appears in the results.

Type the command cd followed by a space and the name of the folder. For example, assuming you're currently in the Users folder and want to change to the Documents folder, the command is cd Documents. You can also type in cd and drag and drop the folder you want to switch to into Command Prompt. Now I know the Capellix comes with the "Commander Core", but I believe that's only enough to run the radiator fans, and 3 more fans for a total of 6. So that leaves 3 fans unaccounted for. The 6 that I'm installing on the bottom and side are going to be the Corsair QL series fans. So do I need to get one of the bundles with the Commander Pro? I'm not sure if the Core and the Pro can be daisy changed together or not though? Ultimately I asked questions prior to plugging anything in as I understood there may be limitations in how I wanted to bend the rules and did not want to risk any damage.. so.. I asked.. got the info.. did the math.. used the splitters where needed,, 4 Commander Pro's in my house and all work fine Directions differ between Windows versions. See What Version of Windows Do I Have? if you're not sure. So ... if you want some help with your heat problem, we need to have that information (as a start) to being to look at it.

Corsair Commander Pro Review – The All-In-One Hub

feel free to message Corsair.. see if you get the same direct advice I requested and indeed used in my Faq thread here is my set up.. its not what you are after but does show the use of pwm repeaters... 32 fans.. 1 commander pro Cooling and lighting control for a modern system can be convoluted and messy. One program controls your lighting, another controls your fans, and maybe even a third monitors your temperatures. Our CORSAIR LINK software and the new Commander PRO combine these features into a single device and software combo. I saw a couple of post on reddit where people could not have more than 2 commmander core xt working.

Also I've tried to setup the correct fan type (4pin or 3pin) in the Commander Pro settings (I was using Auto on the old one) to see if it makes any difference, but nop. The CORSAIR Commander PRO gives you unparalleled control over your system’s performance and RGB lighting. Get in-depth insight into your system temperatures in real-time and set up intelligent fan curves to automatically adjust speeds based on your system’s demands. Create, customize, and synchronize stunning RGB lighting effects when you connect CORSAIR RGB fans and lighting strips for an amazing system-wide light-show. Powered by CORSAIR iCUE software, the CORSAIR Commander PRO is everything you need to turn your case into a smart case. I just received everything (commander XT and 2 SP120 pro) everything works as I hoped, except for the 2 fans I bought myself. The first time I set the system up the 6 QL 120mm Fan light wasn't working, but it was powered and the fans are (Blowing Air) It's been said before.. i will say it again lol.. Corsair do not support Fan Splitter cables with the commander pro.. now i have and do use them my self.. but the fact remains... it has 6 fans ports... for 6 fans.... in its software it shows 6 fans... you can not control any more than 6 individually... word play will not change that dude.. there are people out there with damaged Commander Pros because of overload... your call

With this info, would i be safe as to power draw? (System specs under profile are up to date, currently only drawing 160 in, 140W out) Both. I have 3 fans connected to one header with with a total current if 0.9A. That should not matter, I can do the same off a MB header no problems.

Another method that works in all Windows versions is to execute the cmd command from the Run dialog box. After unboxing the Commander PRO, you’ll notice that it’s surprisingly compact. Measuring in at 133mm x 69mm x 15.5mm with a single internal USB 2.0 cable and SATA power cable. Hi Robert, that’s probably not the commander pro or perhaps there’s a new version I am not aware of. PS. If you wish, you could use one of the thermal couplers that came with your CoPro (there are 4 in the box) and tape it near the exhaust of your radiator. This temperature would be in the ball park of your coolant temperature and removes USB connectivity from the equation. This temperature source would be available to the CoPro right from boot time. All that would be required (after installing the coupler itself) is to set the "Sensor source" for your new fan curves to "Temp #1" or whatever ICUE decides to call this thermal coupler's connection to your CoPro.

To further complicate things, from a cold start I get about 10 usable minutes out of the computer before the temps ramp up into the 60-70 degree Celcius rage and my computer starts to bog down from even just surfing the web and having Spotify running. I have tried to re-apply thermal paste twice thinking that was the issue and it has not fixed it. Has my pump died even though it's reading that it is pumping at 3000 RPM?D) Channel 1 is occupied by 6 LL series fans (2x 140, 4x 120. don't see any brightness controls, so i'll assume 100%. Plans were to swap my 4x RGB led strips out with 1 the strips of 1 kit. No more Four repositionable temperature sensors allow you to accurately monitor temperatures throughout your case with CORSAIR iCUE software, as well as monitoring CPU, graphics card and motherboard temperatures. Set up custom fan curves and lighting profiles to automatically adjust fan speeds and RGB lighting as your system heats up and cools down.
