About this deal

You can see that charging two devices has the expected dramatic impact on charging performance. With the whole power adapter to itself, the MacBook Air got to 60 percent in one hour, and a full charge in about two. When sharing with an iPhone, it only got half as much charge in that first hour and a full charge took about 75 percent longer.

Apple says M2 MacBook Air can go from zero to 50 percent battery level in around 30 minutes using the new adapter that's "compatible with numerous USB-C devices and charging cables." The company did its testing in April and May 2023 on pre-production 15-inch MacBook Air machines fitted with Apple M2, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. It paired the 70W power adapter with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable to test the fast charging capabilities. I chose the 35W dual for my M2 Air but on the go I’m using a 20W charger from the iPad. Works great with the MagSafe cable. Quite a bit weight difference in my laptop bag, see own measurements below. Apple's new MacBook Air with the company's latest homegrown M2 chip gives us a bunch of new options when buying a new MacBook. Most choices are familiar to long-time Apple fans, such as selecting your processor and the amount of storage space on your device, but one option stands out: Apple is asking you which power adapter you want with the Air. And here are some of the best MacBook Air M2 chargers that you can buy right now.

After thinking about it I would personally take the 67 watt charger because while your laptop is plugged in, you can also charge a device from the laptop via cable. What's the difference between 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter and 67W USB-C Power Adapter ? Do they look different ? If you have an older MagSafe adapter, you can use it with Mac computers that have MagSafe 2 ports using a MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter.

On MacBook Air (M2, 2022), you can fast-charge with the following combinations of power sources and cables: If your Mac laptop won't charge, learn what to do if your USB-C power adapter or MagSafe cable or power adapterisn't working. But the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter feels like the real winner here. You can’t fast charge, but you have the flexibility to charge two devices slowly if you’re not in a hurry or one device at a perfectly reasonable speed if not.Product Code: WIT11103 Categories: 67W, Apple MacBook Accessories, MagSafe 3, Power Adapter Related products Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter, 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter, 67WUSB-C Power Adapter, or 70WUSB-C Power Adapter andUSB-C to MagSafe 3Cable If your Mac laptop won’t charge, find out what to do if your USB-C power adapter or MagSafe cable or power adapter isn’t working.
