The Worst Best Man is about Frankie and Aiden, obviously.. since I already mentioned them. They meet at a wedding, where Frankie is the maid of honor for her best friend Pru's wedding. From this, she meets Aiden who is the best man for Chip. There are a bunch of spoiled rotten people in this wedding party, including Aiden.. but with Frankie's sass she made this wedding so enjoyable. Hell, the entire book she was my lovable spitfire girl. I want to grow up and be like her.

Yes, everybody is very judgmental - including our heroine, Frankie. I don't like being stereotyped so I certainly would not lump all the beautiful rich people together and assume they are all shallow. And the bridesmaids get nasty to each other. The dialogues are not funny.Is Mia Sosa becoming an all-time favourite author of mine after only reading two books by her? Possibly. That said, I did like the big Brazilian family and cute way the story wrapped up and there were one or two hilarious moments that made me laugh- but the story didn’t have the sparkle or emotional depth I prefer in my romance novels. I’m not sure how to put this just right because by & large, I liked how the book went —I really was often entertained —. Yet I feel like there are places where the story could’ve wrapped up sooner more than once. It’s not that the book was super long. It was just the direction of the storytelling imho. Idk if it’s the author missing the opportunity to wrap it up or unintentionally creating moments that seemed to imply the end was near(er) 🤷🏻‍♀️. It just threw me a little. It starts with Solange who learns sth about the wedding and decides to crash it later on dean wants to go through a job promotion so he asks her to be his fake girlfriend since she is the one who ruined the wedding .I felt that the chemistry between max and Caroline was much stronger than dean and Solange but these two were cute too. Mia Sosa writing style is so lovely there were so many funny moments in this book that I enjoyed it a lot. The best part were the character development it was so relatable.overall it is going to be one the sweet rom coms of 2022. Ok, forse Aiden è sempre un po' calato nel personaggio cupo a causa della propria ricchezza, con il sorriso triste e severo da "il prezzo da pagare per il privilegio", e poi si trasforma rapidamente in cucciolone. E lei è un borgatara di quartiere, con altrettanti pregiudizi verso i ricchi, tanto da rischiare di non vedere il treno dell'Amore che le passa accanto.

I just can't even... I really don't know what to say. Definitely, not my cuppa! Too much silliness is happening, too much chaos and too many OTT characters. It's not my kind of humor, either. I only liked the bride & the groom (side characters). The other side characters are mostly awful. The hero and heroine didn't make much sense to me, either. There was some good banter between them, but I was unable to enjoy it without feeling the chemistry between the characters...

I really loved Pru. What a great friend. She was getting married and Frankie was the one that was all over the place. They're best friends so I did love their loyalty to each other. I basically included all of my favorite tropes in one book. Seriously. I love characters who engage in intense banter, and I think these tropes lend themselves to the kind of fun and sexy dialogue that highlights the chemistry between two people. I’d add a fourth one to the list: older sibling’s best friend. The tension when that dynamic is at the center of the conflict is, as my mother would describe it, delicious. This didn’t quite hit the highs of Worst Best Man but the fab family vibes are such a great time especially Natalia’s scenes – that girl is a riot in both books 🤣 I love P&P and I love funny books. Unfortunately, The Worst Best Man didn't live up to its promise.
