About this deal

I did feel sorry for what her fear was. And yes, she endangered things, but I can imagine that she just wanted to show that she could lead. That she was strong. A great book with twists and turns and plenty of surprises. You might think you know where the story is going (I did) but you'll probably be wrong! So maybe you really love football. Right. And maybe you... you really know what you're talking about when you talk about football. Maybe you love the game. You love watching, you know your team, you know all the transfer costs and all the things that have been going on. So why not use that. Take your story and set it around a football game. It could be on the pitch, it could be in the terraces, watching, it could be in the changing rooms halfway through, it could be just somebody at home, really, really loving their team and wanting them to win. Below is a selection of images of the Orion constellation captured by BBC Sky at Night Magazine readers and astrophotographers. Beth is such a great main character. I really related to her character arc teehee and she's super easy to root for.

What would life be like inside the spaceship? How would you eat, sleep and exercise? Can you come up with different ways to describe these conditions? I think this book would have worked better as a multi-pov, because the other characters don't seem that prominent in the story, despite being in every scene. I can tell you one is the son of the Captain, ones French, one's Scandinavian but we don't really get much more than surface level of these characters. Ship, ah the fun AI, is he good or is he not good. I loved how he was written. It made the story creepier because you had no clue if the AI was on your side… or on his own side. Most interesting is the focus Chisholm has put on the importance of command structure. While there are plenty of colourful story-points, the focus on the skill of being a leader, making the right choices, owning your mistakes and trusting in your team is refreshing and sets it apart from similar themed space adventures.Step forward and join their hallowed ranks, Alastair Chisholm. The writing and plot of Orion Lost are a masterclass in how to create suspense. The enclosed setting of a space ship (as fans of the 1979 movie classic Alien know well) is a perfect place to build up tension if the storyteller knows what he is doing. Following on from Gamer and Virus, this is the third book in Chris Bradford's dystopian series. Specifically designed to reduce barriers to reading, this super-readable book is sure to appeal to gamers and martial arts fans. We started this book and was soon hooked. Amatullah took an instant dislike to Vihaan, Captain Joshi's son. I can't say I blame her as he was mean. Whereas she loved Lauren who is fiesty, funny and super-talented.I did think some things were a bit unbelievable and I had to turn off logic a bit, but honestly it didn't bother me too much. It was just too fun and intriguing! It has an apparent diameter of 20 arcseconds, with small scopes revealing a star-like object at low magnification. Upping the power won’t show detail, but should reveal the elliptical shape of this planetary. So much fun! The premise of this didn't sound super convincing when I first heard about it, but I decided to give it a chance because I was really in the mood for some Sci-Fi. I think going in with mediocre expectations did me a lot of good, bc this book blew me away. I loved Beth and her peers and how they navigated the intricacies of life in space. There were twists and turns that I obviously saw coming and then some that completely took me by surprise. I thought the way the "aliens" were portrayed in the book was brilliant! Overall definitely enjoyed and will encourage others to read it as well.
