About this deal

Yes indeed! It's a wonderful book of patterns and techniques, created by Season 5 winner, Juliet Uzor. Juliet is a regular columnist for Love Sewing magazine and has even graced our cover! Sewing is also a skill that can help you become a more sustainable crafter – there are so many ways you can use fabric you already have at home and upcycle them into new items. From old curtains and towels to tablecloths and throws, you can use fabrics from soft furnishings in scrap fabric projects using techniques like patchwork or quilting, make fabric jewellery or even small purses and toys.

The first episode of The Great British Sewing Bee Season 9 will be on our screens at 9pm on Wednesday 24th May!Until we hear any news on the episodes, we’d love to hear any Sewing Bee predictions you might have… a reduce reuse recycle themed challenge is a safe bet in my eyes. The date for Season 8's premiere is 27th April 2022. It aired at 8pm on BBC One and will be the first of 10 episodes.

Sewing Bee will air at 9pm every Wednesday night on BBC ONE so will be showing live on the channel, and available for catch up on iPlayer afterwards. The location of the Sewing Bee studio used to be in London at the Metropolitan Wharf in Bermondsey, but in 2021 the production moved up North to Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, Leeds. The 2021 Festive Specials and Season 8 have been filmed at this new location. The 2023 edition of our ever-popular Great British Sewing Bee digital book is live now!
