About this deal

Instead, you’ll want to lean towards maniples that let you swap out a Warhound. Venator and Ferrox are both excellent choices that still allow you take advantage of their maniple trait. In a Venator, taking a second Reaver gives you two options for your free shot whenever a Warhound collapses a target’s shield, though you still only get to fire with one of the Titans each time it activates. However, having a pair of them gives you more choices on what weapons to fire with as well as better coverage of the board – it’s much harder to hide from two melta cannon Reavers than just one. It’s also useful for managing heat if you take a volcano cannon, since you can alternate which Reaver gets the free shot to keep your reactors under control. Genestealer Cults Patriarch. In his hand he has a Blood Angels helmet and on his base is a Crimson Fist, neatly covering my two Marine armies. Credit: Corrode

Contrast blues are some of the most saturated paints in the range, and Pylar Glacier exists to slot in between Aethermatic Blue and Talassar Blue . Call of Chaos by Rob Sanders follows a Slaaneshi warlord through an encounter with the Stormcast Eternals. I find it really useful to paint the heads as a separate subassembly, it really helps to get the faces right if you have 360 degree access to them, rather than struggling to paint them when they’re surrounded by a high collar. Thin down Citadel Druchii Violet with Citadel Lahmian Medium 1:4 (1 part shade to 4 parts medium), and add a drop or two of water too. Cover the Wraithbone primer (which should just be the skin at this point) and the recesses of the silver areas. I saved some of this mixture in an empty pot for other projects, much like my Nurgle flesh wash. Thinned down glazes of Scalecolour FX Fluor Orange following these lines, pulling the paint towards the lantern, so the colour is strongest closer to the bulb itself. Feather the colour with a bit of water at the farthest extremes to create a soft gradient between the orange and non-orange colour, the gel medium of the Scalecolour paints really helps when it comes to blending it out like this.Dark Imperium and Plague War by Guy Haley. These books focus on Guilliman’s battles against the Death Guard and Mortarion’s forces, but also feature several notable daemons, including Ku’Gath Plaguefather. I drybrush that over the flesh of the sores. I’m also going to use Bugman’s Glow to paint all of the tentacle bits coming out of the Great Unclean One’s body in various spots. I’ll highlight the raw muscle with Bugman’s Glow as well. The new Arcus Battleline Maniple is also interesting, letting you bring a Warbringer-Nemesis, a Reaver, and a Warhound to the fight. It also gives the Warhound a defined battlefield role as a spotter for the Warbringer, allowing you to bring a quake or volcano cannon to bear even if your chosen prey is able to hide completely out of sight. There’s also something to be said for the Ruptura even though there’s no Warhound to sub out – the maniple trait’s free boosted move each turn takes the edge off of not having access to Motive Subreactors, and the bonus move if one of your Warbringers kills something is all upside. In either case, we think you’re probably better off with a maniple that lets you bring a Warlord, but we’re excited to see what players will do with these new tools. THE STATION - Warhammer и Настольные Игры - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7fI8SmlQm2Q9nNYkwiRatg The Decurion Lanius is a cruel tank commander unique to the Sons of Horus. Emerging in the latter days of the Heresy, these hatch-mounted enforcers maintain the Warmaster’s grip by callously executing any allies who fall out of line. Designed to work with the plastic Deimos Pattern Predator, the Sicaran Battle Tank, the Sicaran Punisher, or the Kratos Heavy Assault Tank, this resin miniature also comes with a choice of heads.

Firstly, I want to prime everything with Citadel Spray Wraithbone, but to ensure I get the right colour and finish, I’ll then paint everything again with Wraithbone from the pot, which I’ll also need to tidy up any mistakes.Paint the base white/Wraithbone. Cover the base in Citadel Blood Angels Red Contrast (I lied about not using it, at least on the bases). While the paint is wet, bleed in some Citadel Troll Slayer Orange and stir it in places to give some variation to the red. Green Chitin and Cloth: – Wash with Terradon Turquoise. – Layer with Lupercal Green, leaving the deepest recesses. – Highlight with Kabalite Green, focusing on the raised areas of the cloth/carapace. – Edge Highlight with Sybarite Green – Edge Highlight any bladed/horned parts of the carapace with Dawnstone. (Larger areas of Chitin on Metamorphs/Purestrains, Patriarch can be carefully Drybrushed instead for a more naturalistic, less clean look). For the ridged sections between any carapace plates, basecoat with Xereus Purple and shade with Druchii Violet There’s plenty of extra information in the full video to help you paint every single miniature in Leviathan. By applying all of these tips, you should be able to get your whole box completed in no time at all! These guys are practically made for Contrast. You can almost smoosh them faster than building them. To make my life easier, I’ve mounted Mr Buzz Buzz on an old paintbrush handle because flightstands are evil flimsy little bastards of a thing sent down to earth just to mess with us. I’ve left those aside for my friend to deal with.
