Description

While mourning the loss of Crank, Ein would meet and befriend Gaelio Bauduin who, despite his noble standing, treated Ein as an equal. Ein appreciated Gaelio's kindness and while he was still dedicated to revenge, he swore to give his all to his new friend. True to his word, Ein was severely injured protecting Gaelio and eventually underwent the Alaya-Vijnana surgery himself to gain an edge against Tekkadan so that he could avenge Crank. Unknown to Ein and Gaelio, they were just pawns in McGillis's plan. The red indicator lights of the Alaya-Vijnana Type E maybe a reference to EB-AX2 Graze Ein's red monoeye. This mobile suit is the prototype form of ASW-G-XX Gundam Vidar, and was used for testing and adjusting the Alaya-Vijnana type E. Based on the data obtained in the test, Gjallarhorn's technician, Yamazin Toka, proceeded with the adjustments of the mobile suit, which later became the Gundam Vidar. Its armaments included the Proto Burst Saber, 110mm Vidar-use Rifle, and a pair of Handguns.

Story

While returning to his ship, Gaelio comes across the damaged remains of Julieta's mobile suit and rescues her. He apologizes to Rustal for failing to defeat McGillis, but is assured that a plan is in motion to handle the rebels. He then visits Julieta in the medical bay, where he is chided for not visiting her sooner. After hearing her resolve to get stronger as a human, a smiling Gaelio approves of her decision. Gaelio later joins Rustal and Iok in planning how to deal with Tekkadan. The single-piece Burst Saber Blades inside the side armors can actually be separated into individual pieces (and their tabs cut off) for a working blade-deploying functionality. This modification has one downside: It can fall off from the armors if the holes are facing downwards. To minimize this issue, you can only separate the 2nd/middle blade while keeping the 1st and 3rd pieces unchanged, as the molded tabs keep them in place. Developed for Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex by Teiwaz's MS workshop, besides fitting Mikazuki's combat style, this heavy weapon also takes into view combat against battleships. [1] [3] The telescopic handle helps to close the gap with enemy unit. [1] When not in use, it can be mounted on the rear waist horizontally. [1] Any of the weapons can be wielded by the hand parts. (The handgun can only be wielded by the default hands)

Due to the rex nails mounted on the fingers, the arms of the Barbatos Lupus Rex can function as powerful weapons that can pierce opponent machines. [1] Like the Tail Blade, the rex nails and the suit's toes are made of rare metals. (Final words to Gaelio) - Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Episode 25 (S1) Later on in space, Coral leads a team of Grazes to stop Tekkadan, but is killed during the operation by Mikazuki and his Barbatos. Gaelio then appears with his customized EB-05s Schwalbe Graze and engages Mikazuki. Gaelio is eventually joined by McGillis in his customized Schwalbe Graze. The two give Mikazuki a hard fight, and Gaelio soon manages to tie up Barbatos using the Schwalbe Graze's wired claw weapon. He asks Mikazuki to surrender, but Mikazuki refuses, saying " There's no reason to surrender." Upon hearing Mikazuki's voice, Gaelio recognises it as belonging to the boy he had met a few days before. Mikazuki manages to break free and escapes by throwing Barbatos' mace at Gaelio's machine. Gaelio and McGillis then continue tailing Tekkadan, hoping to stop them from reaching Earth. In the process, he appoints Ein Dalton as his subordinate. With Tekkadan finally arriving on Earth, the Gundam Kimaris was retrofitted with an alternate set of armor for ground combat and became known as ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Trooper. But it's hard to let go of a power once you obtain it. Humans are like that. Even if it is a power that could destroy themselves." --Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Episode 1 (S1)

The Gundam Bael was the first of the 72 Gundam Frames created by Gjallarhorn near the end of the Calamity War 300 years ago to counter the threat of the powerful mobile armors such as Hashmal.Julieta was eventually recovered by Gaelio in his Gundam Kimaris Vidar after McGillis's forces retreated. When he visits her in the medical wing, she chides him for waiting so long to see her. She admits to having been in fear of her life, but also concedes to the inhuman power that Mikazuki displayed. Despite this, she resolves to get stronger while remaining human, to which Gaelio approves.
