Alternatively, there's Rapid Aqua Wax, a budget carnauba wax that can be applied to all exterior surfaces, including glass and rubber. The Polar Blaster has been designed and tested to be used specifically with the three Autoglym Polar products. It will enhance their foam levels, dwell time and coverage.
We would strongly recommend not using more than 40ml Polar Seal and 200ml water. Over use may cause white spotting and significantly compromise the effectiveness of Polar Seal. Using more product will not improve the depth of shine or increase its durability. Polar Blast is a snow foam that can be applied using a pressure washer or foam gun. It covers the vehicle in a rich blanket of foam that clings to paintwork to gently loosen dirt and heavy soiling prior to shampooing. This reduces the risk of scratches and swirl marks caused by a sponge or wash mitt moving over heavy contamination. Polar Blast can be used instead of a shampoo if the vehicle isn't heavily soiled, just ensure you rinse the vehicle with water first to remove the top layer of dirt. We would recommend that only the product needed for a single application is used. We also recommend that the foamer bottle is rinsed thoroughly after use.Polar Wash: Providing a safe and effective cleaner for application via a pressure washer and foam gun. Enabling you to cover your vehicle in a blanket of foam which eats away at dirt, traffic film and grime. We recommend starting with a snow foam like Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, and follow with Polar Wash to remove any dirt or contamination on your paintwork. As a mid-range brand, there are plenty of brands both large and small that offer similarly priced products. Meguiar's is arguably the largest direct competitor, operating in a similar price range but with a wider selection of products (sometimes to a fault) and greater emphasis on accessories. Both are very similar quality-wise and the only real distinctions are whether you want simple products in Autoglym or the glitz and colour of Meguiar's. Flush through the Polar Blaster with clean water when you have finished using it to apply all intended products. It is a coating designed specifically for use in a pressure washer. It is the coating element (third and final stage) of the three-stage Polar range process. It is preceded by the prewash – Polar Blast and shampoo - Polar Wash. Ensure your car is still damp before applying Polar Seal and allowing it to dwell on the bodywork for up to three minutes before singing off. You should see an immediate hydrophobic layer of protection, evident with some truly gorgeous water beading. It's an incredibly easy way to get some extra protection, the only downside being that you can't apply Polar Seal to a windscreen, which means some careful trigger action.
