The LCD display on the ZR9 is almost identical to that of the ZR8. In my opinion this can be seen as a positive as Reebok have continued to use what has been tried and tested as successful. The ZR9 the footplates are adjustable unlike the ZR8, 10 which does allow little movement should you fit into the category of being very tall or short. Reebok is a company that’s been around for decades. It was officially founded in 1958 by Jeff Foster and Joseph William but only started to become a household name in the 1980s when the brand began to specialise in workout gear and activewear.
The Reebok ZR9 comes equipped with an amazing 32 different levels of tension. This allows people of all abilities to find the right level of tension required for the optimum workout. Heart rate measurement is straightforward enough using the pulse grips sensors in the handlebars and there is even a built in recovery test function. This is effectively a fitness test and is very simple to do: once you’ve completed an exercise session on the bike, you press the recovery button on the console and grab the pulse grip sensors for 60 seconds. The computer measures the rate at which your pulse rate is returning to a resting state over the minute and uses this to calculate a fitness rating of between 1 and 7 (the lower the number the better). Whilst by no means a medically meaningful measurement, this feature will provide motivation by seeing fitness levels improve over time.The ZR9 is another great cross trainers in the Reebok family. In truth we couldn’t find a lot of difference between the ZR8 and ZR9 but this doesn’t take away from the fact that they are both great choices. It has an impressive 32 levels of resistance that lets you adjust your workout based on your needs, as well as adjustable seat and handlebars, and built-in tech that monitors your progress. With so many Fitness equipment to choose from, it’s no wonder it becomes such a confusing and time consuming process to decide on which Fitness equipment are right for you. Our best piece of advise is to spend a little time researching exactly what you’re looking for, and then spending the time to find the right one for you.
