The first book had mild heat and got spicy at the end but I felt like that was what the group needed. I enjoyed the development and plots as they all found each other again. The ending left me hanging on for more and I was glad that Cyn’s secret were revealed! Having read the Academy of Stardom series, I couldn't wait to know the story of the Deana-dhe and their love story.

Alas, the final book in this dark, suspenseful, RH duet has come. Following that major cliffhanger of book one, the story started with The Deana-dhe working together with their arch nemesis, The Masks. This time, they have to set aside their differences if they wanted to have a great chance of rescuing Cyn from The Skull Brotherhood's clutches. And oh man, did the leader of this gang made me so darn stabby.Add in glimpses of her humanity, which soften her edges for a brief moment before doubling down on her horror, and you’ve got the Deana-Dhe. Bea Paige knows how to get you addicted… I’m hooked for sure. What a story!! I need my next fix!? 🤣 The set up of the narrative differed in this book, having been split into two parts which was surprising for me, having not expected it. Emphasize the importance of financial literacy and responsible financial management in avoiding debt and making smart financial decisions.

Part One focused on the events that took place at the end of Debts & Diamonds,leading to the showcasing of two different journeys. This book hits some deep places. It’ll make you cry and smile and everything in between. It’s dark on some levels, yet no longer enemy/bully behavior we saw in book 1, thankfully. I loved the growth for all the characters, as we all the character crossovers! I would definitely recommend this book! A deep, dark, and wild emotional rollercoaster! I love Bea’s books—always. No matter what she writes, I’ll read it. The way she’s been able to create such an incredible world with so many overlapping stories just blows my mind. I LOVE seeing the crossovers, and while we don’t see the Breakers in this book, Beast, Grim, Christy, and the Masks are all present and accounted for.Particularly on Cyn’s part, due to the battle she had suffered through leading to her having to endure her own inner obstacles before fully reuniting with Deana-Dhe mentally and physically once and for all. One thing to add is just like with Their Obsessionduet, Bea had me falling hard for one in particular that being Lorcan.
