Oh poor Mr. Nervous, he's a shaky ball of nerves who spends his day worrying his worst fears will come true, because unfortunately for him, they usually do. In Roger Hargreaves' original book series, each of the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters were given a hometown: Happyland, Tiddletown, Nonsenseland, etc. In the television series, all of the characters live in the same city, the township of Dillydale. The name "Dillydale" was coined by series producer Peggy Regan. To commemorate the historic naming, she was presented with a plaque and the honorary title of "The Mayor of Dillydale". Mr. Grumpy and his grumpiness, recurring good mood, honest truths, and intelligence, because they get along very poorly. Miss Scary takes great pleasure in scaring the innocent folk of Dillydale and spends much of her time creating spooky experiments, that never seem to end well. In ' Beach' and ' Flying', there were 2 Mr. Stubborns, one in the water with goggles and snorkel, and one lounging on the beach towel. Mr. Stubborn is perhaps the most unpleasant character in The Mr. Men Show mainly due to having a lot of negative and irredeemable personality traits. Production for the first season finished sometime in December. "It was a stupidly fast schedule... a head-spinning schedule," Casemiro recalled. "But it was a labor of love -- we had a great time." Two of the show's characters, Little Miss Calamity and Little Miss Daredevil, were created exclusively for the television series. Little Miss Penny is one of the children of Mr. Thrifty and Mrs. Thrifty who is in the Mr. Spendy book.

Sometimes she manages to save Mr. Bump such as in the Mr. Men opening remix video when she saved him from falling and in episodes like " Getting Around", " Lunch" (although he lost his lunch to a shark) and he didn't get hurt in her music video in " Dance, Dance, Dance".

Miss Chatterbox loves to talk. And talk. She believes she's an expert on everything, convinced that everyone in Dillydale wants to hear about it. Even if they don't.
