As a direct lung vaper it’s always nice to take long pulls without fear of dry hitting – that didn’t occur once. Its a shame because the flavour is quite good and the 0.4Ω Mesh coil would also be a battery saver, so its a bit of a shame. Smok RPM2 Airflow SMOK RPM MTL Mesh Coil:3 ohm, suggested power 10-15 watts. Produces huge clouds but has tight airflow characteristics for mouth-to-lung vaping.
Yes, there are only subtle airflow differences when vaping between fully open/closed dial settings but the flavour and cloud production is quite remarkable on any airflow arrangement. DC 0.25 Ohm RPM2 coil:The DC 0.25 Ohm RPM2 coil performs best when using high VG vape juices. This RPM2 coil will allow users to experience intense flavour and vapour production levels. And yes, believe it or not, its actually been almost 12 months since I reviewed the Smok RPM40 Pod Mod. So leaving it a year before releasing its bigger brother is acceptable in my opinion (If you ignore the other 6 pod mods they’ve released)There’s a very minimum amount of airflow restriction and the vape although a little noisy offered up no turbulence. The final thing to consider when choosing the right coil is what type of nicotine you’d like to vape. Do you want a coil that can handle Nic Salts? What about the VG/PG ratio?
