Description

There are a couple more extra features that are worth mentioning with one of them being custom integration support for both Ihiji Invision and Domotz Pro, a feature that we were seeing mostly on higher ends models and now seems to be supported in all units in their lineup. Lastly there is HDMI-CEC which allows you control the receiver through the TV remote and thus lower the number of remotes needed to use in your home cinema. By turning the Smart Menu on, on the receiver you can use the TV remote to navigate through a set of menus especially created for this reason and allow you to change many of the unit’s functions. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM): Auto Low Latency Mode enables the ideal latency setting to automatically be set allowing for smooth, lag-free and uninterrupted viewing and interactivity. When the receiver detects a gaming signal it will enter ALLM. The signal will also be sent to the TV causing it to automatically switch to a low-latency, low-lag mode for gaming. Some functions will not be available on the receiver and TV during ALLM. HDR10+: HDR10+ is an HDR video technology that adds dynamic metadata to HDR10 source files. The dynamic metadata are used to adjust brightness levels on a scene-by-scene or even frame-by-frame basis. HDR10+ supports maximum of 10,000 nits peak brightness and 10-bit or more (up to 16-bit) color bit depth. It uses Samsung's dynamic metadata defined in SMPTE ST 2094-40. In addition to Dolby Atmos and DTS: X decoding, the NR1711 also offers Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS:X Virtual processing, both of which attempt to create a 3D listening experience, without recourse to physical height or surround speakers. Both work pretty well, provided your expectations are managed. What you basically get is a fuller, fatter sound.

Dedicated buttons for useful features like dimming and sound mode eliminate browsing tedious menus. Stream the most popular music services — like Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and many more — via Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 or the HEOS app. With AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Alexa and Google Assistant built in, you’ll not be stymied when streaming, and its 3D audio performance is hugely entertaining. Having tested a few of the NR models so far one thing that we should mention is how loud the unit can go. All the NR series have a limit of 50 watts per channel, which obviously is lower when it comes to all channels at once, but in our opinion since this receiver will mostly be used is small areas and living rooms and with the distance being relatively short you shouldn’t have any problem enjoying a loud soundstage. Obviously it cannot compare to the power that full-sized units can offer but it can get surprisingly high for what it is so you shouldn’t really worry very much about this. The NR1510 supports Dolby Vision, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), eARC and ALLM for enhanced picture and audio. Dolby Vision is a stunning HDR imaging technology that brings extraordinary colour, contrast, and brightness to the screen. See what you've been missing.

Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures Xbox One users have a more responsive and immersive gaming experience when connected with select TV models that also support ALLM.

The Marantz NR1510 proves that you can still get remarkable surround sound all boxed into one compact receiver.Design-wise, this is a fetching slice of AV. It retains the curved fascia of its bigger brothers, but at half the height the effect is more stylish. It also replaces Marantz's
usual 'porthole' display window with something more traditional (and better). BT.2020 Color Space: BT.2020 or Rec. 2020 is a color standard which delivers a wider color gamut compared to Rec. 709. It covers approximately 75% of the total visual spectrum while the Rec. 709 covers only 35% (available on both models). Featuring a high-current discrete power amplifier section, enjoy elevated sound for movies and music with identical power on all five channels (50W per channel: 8-ohm, 20Hz – 20kHz, 0.08% THD, 2 Ch. Drive) with low-impedance drive capability for superb speaker control. The Marantz NR1510 is a powerful home theater receiver sure to please even the most discerning audiophiles. It offers an array of features and connections that elevate your entertainment experience in any room, delivering accurate sound with warmth and clarity. Build and design

A slight – and surprising – niggle concerns the NR1710's remote, which I found slow to react at times. A bigger concern for Marantz is this receiver's competition. The price tag elevates it beyond some other, traditional seven-channel designs (including some from Denon), and not that far off its full-size, more powerful SR line. Its slim design, broad specification and engaging sound performance make it very easy to recommend, however. The main limitation is you lose the ability to control the sub’s volume and crossover independently compared to having a dedicated sub pre-out. As for it’s wireless capabilities the NR1510 has been updated the same way we saw the NR1710 was. As such it also supports dual band WiFi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) but this time it uses the updated Bluetooth 4.1 instead of the Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) that the NR1509 was using meaning that we get better and more stable Bluetooth connections when streaming.Marantz is one of the most well-known home theater manufacturers for a reason. They make some of the best receivers and other home audio equipment that money can buy. The Marantz NR1510 is an entry-level 5.2 channel AV receiver from the company but it doesn’t skimp on features or performance in any area. It offers excellent sound quality, plenty of inputs with support for numerous high-resolution audio codecs, and other useful features at a very affordable price point. For music, the NR1510 handles high-resolution audio all the way up to 192kHz/24-bit as well as DSD streaming.

Easily connect your turntable to the receiver and enjoy the pure intent of each recording within your vinyl collection. The NR1510 features a dedicated phono stage input for your record player.

The spec of Marantz’s NR range may have evolved over years, but the design has largely remained static. The amp has a familiar curved fascia, with two dials either side of a large and clear display. Whether you’re looking for something small to spruce up a shelf or countertop or bring a unique bit of flair to any space in the home or office, this item has all the features you need. Features and specs Bluetooth Headphone Transmission: Connect any pair of Bluetooth Headphones to the receiver and enjoy music or movie sound with pure freedom. With or without speakers turned on Virtual 3D audio is an interesting idea, but no one should expect it to completely succeed. The Dolby mode did have a tangible impact when I stripped the system down to 2.1-channel, though. With The Equalizer 2's full-bore soundmix, it seemed to push audio elements a little further into the room. For non-Dolby sources, Virtual:X is similar, but I found it more aggressive in its processing. It all works in tangent together to create an immersive experience, especially during action scenes Perfect For Movies
