However, if you can afford to bump your budget a little higher and don’t mind sacrificing some capacity or those grill plates, the 7.6L Ninja Foodi Dual Zone remains my preferred choice. The results aren’t that much different but the design and build quality is a little better and it generally feels a bit nicer to use. I've since tried cooking them in the larger basket and the results are better, but still not anywhere near good enough, with many of the chips remaining raw.

The majority came out crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and there were only a small handful of chips that missed the mark when cooked in the smaller basket. They were cooked, they just weren't as tasty or crispy as the rest.
