I have a fairly old SFF system (Gateway SX-2801) which is approximately 15″D x 11″H x 4″W – measured with the chassis in vertical orientation on the desktop. The 3060specifically is the best card available for the Ampere Nvidia generation capable of a compact size. It is built on the Ampere architecture with the specific variant of the GA106-300. With a Samsung 8nm process, it creates a die 276mm² in size that holds 12 billion transistors. In most cases, the LP GPU won’t physically draw any power from the power supply but will get enough wattage directly from the PCI-e 16x slot it’s plugged into.
