New redeveloped BTEC Tech Award in Health and Social Care for 2022

This Health and Social Care Diploma Level 3 QCF qualification has been replaced by the updated Adult Care Diploma Level 3 RQF course (603/2553/7). As such, learners enrolled on the Health & Social Care Diploma Level 3 QCF will be enrolled in the Adult Care Diploma Level 3 RQF.

Teaching from 2017 All centres that started the Level 3 Applied Certificate or Diploma in Health and Social Care in 2017 must follow Version 1 of the Specification and use Version 1 of the Sample Assessment Materials. This qualification had its first certification in 2019, with one re-sit opportunity in 2020. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Level 3 RQF qualification Adult Care Diploma certificate. This RQF qualification is the most up-to-date version of the popular Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification, and replaces all previous NVQ and QCF versions. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 or above who wish to progress on to Higher Education.The programme contains several different units of assessment, all of which sit within the ‘Regulated Qualification Framework’ (RQF). Credits are achieved for each unit completed (please see unit listing below for more detail). This qualification has a workplace element where you will demonstrate your practical experience. To complete this element, you must be in a UK-based setting (excluding Northern Ireland).
