If the Bushnell Tour V5 is appreciated for its 6x magnification, but the Bushnell Pro X3 becomes more desirable. It has a magnification of up to 7x. This is the same level as its predecessor Pro XE. But in Pro X3 there is a slight improvement in the lens that makes the visibility clearer and more HD realistic.Slope Switch technology lets the golfer easily turn Bushnell's patented Slope function on and off. This technology allows the golfer to conveniently utilize Slope to get compensated distances around the course when they want it and have a USGA conforming device that is legal for tournament play when they need it. TIP: While pressing the Power/Fire button, you can move the device slowly from object to object and intentionally force the laser to hit multiple objects to ensure that you only display the closest objects recognized by the laser. Once the device has shut off, the unit will always default to the last mode used. The home elevation setting is one of the features new to the Pro X3. This expands on the feature first seen in the Bushnell XE [review HERE]. Bushnell uses this elevation when adjusting yardage for barometric pressure. I don’t expect it to stay like that for long though, because their current lineup has something for everyone.
