About this deal

This story is somewhat different from the other books in this series, but it is compelling in its own way. The brotherhood and supportive ‘family’ atmosphere is present and serves as the foundation for everything else that occurs. Savage is accepted exactly as he is, even if many people would be unable to accept his sexual proclivities. There is a low-level tension present in this book that escalates as readers get deeper into the story. There is death and destruction as well, but all for a good cause. This is not a clear case of right versus wrong; Feehan helps readers accept that sometimes there is a grey area in the midst of some terrible evil. On the surface, the grey area may be wrong, but without the grey area, the evil would be much worse.

For Scotland, 2011 data is shown (update coming soon, the Scottish census was delayed by a year unlike the rest of the UK). Savin and Seychelle are newly together, and trying to navigate the complicated future that is ahead of them. Savin holds all the knowledge, although the link between them means that Seychelle sees more than he wishes. He spends much of the book trying to understand how she can possibly want to be with him. It is an amazing balance of love, need and pain. Christine Feehan has an amazing skill for just taking the reader right to the edge of the cliff, tension bleeding into every move. Exciting, exhausting, and completely unputdownable from the very beginning. A fabulous master bedroom with frontal aspect garden views. Recessed lighting walk in dressing room, which is shelved and offers wardrobe hanging space with fitted mirror and lighting . En suite off with sink in vanity unit, low flush WC, walk in shower with power shower, fully tiled walls and tiled floor. This en suite would be suitable for anyone with a disability due to the size and the walk in shower. I had fun,” Hayley says over her shoulder, her right hand reaching for the door handle. “Thanks for cheering me up.”The cabinet secretary smiles inscrutably and continues out the door, disappearing into the reception area. For a moment, Hayley Chill is left alone in the office where so much history has been made. The Secret Service agent was exactly right the day before. No matter how many times Hayley has ventured into this hallowed room, the Oval Office never ceases to instill awe in the young woman from West Virginia.

One thing we see in this book as Savage and Seychelle move further into each other’s world is the importance Savage places on her consent. How strong and smart she is. How she can read him and has come to know her boundaries. Seychelle realizes how much power she has during their pain to pleasure intimacy. She has the control, she’s the one who says when her pain threshold is reached and when Savage needs to stop. He trusts her to know, and she trusts him to listen. And Savage will do anything to keep his word to not humiliate her and to keep her from being hurt in any way outside the pain by his hands to bring her tears and pleasure. One change I think I saw was the pain pleasure desire he felt has become more intimate, more of a bond with her alone, than just the way he needs to find release. Bad timing, friend,” Hayley says, without looking in that direction. “I mean, bad in a tragic, gothic kind of way.”He was a good man, Tammy.” Hayley doesn’t know what else to say, wishing she could give her sister more. “He was a really good man.” The neatly fitted kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, with plenty of counter space for meal preparation. It's a hub for creating delicious dishes and enjoying family meals together. Jessica never left Green Shoals, marrying a boy from their high school and becoming pregnant almost immediately. Two more babies followed, a burden too great for the young marriage to bear. Jessica’s husband lit out for California and a less demanding future. Like many in her situation, the young, single mother developed a dependence on opiates that left her incapable of performing parental duties. The children were raised by their grandmother as Jessica’s illness devolved into a harrowing heroin addiction. Her repeated overdoses were unremarkable except for the last one that claimed her life. A motorist found Jessica’s rail-thin corpse in the bathroom of a gas station.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Savage and Seychelle) SAVAGE ROAD continues to focus on the building relationship between Savin “Savage” Pajari, and singer Seychelle Dubois, a relationship that is going to cross the line into hard core BDSM. Savage is a sadist, needing to inflict pain and suffering as a result of childhood savagery and abuse, and in this, our ‘hero’ cycles with his demons in a need to remain in control. Seychelle is an innocent but a woman who is falling in love with a man whose needs and urges are about to push our heroine into a lifestyle she knows little about including the world of the Torpedo Ink MC. Thank God you’re here,” Rodgers says without looking at her. “Today is going to be insane.” He mixes sugar-free Red Bull with coffee at his desk, his go-to breakfast. Savage Road is the second and final book in Seychelle and Savage’s story. It took two books (Annihilation and Savage Road) to show the intense and complex story of Savin “Savage” Pajarin’s deeply wounded life.

Solid oak kitchen with high and low level units, intergrated dishwasher and fridge, Range master cooker offering electric double ovens with 6 ring gas hob extractor fan and canopy over, space for microwave, stainless steel sink and granite draining board, centre island with sink and granite work tops, tiled floor, open plan dining area which leads into sun-room. French double doors leading to patio and rear garden. Singling her out in this way makes Hayley uncomfortable. Her role as an agent for the deeper state requires she seek neither attention nor commendation.
