Lyrik - The Lyrik fork series is designed for aggressive downhill riding, with a huge 170 mm of travel on the suspension. The single crown makes it lighter than many triple-clamp downhill forks. Solo Air and DebonAir only:Compress the fork through at least 50% of its travel five times to equalize positive and negative air pressures. Air pressure equalization ensures the positive air spring is accurately pressurized. Pressurize the air spring to the recommended starting pressure once more. Remove the pump. Do not compress the suspension with the pump attached. The air presure required in your fork will vary depending on the model of fork, and the style of your bike. For DebonAir, SoloAir, and Dual Postion Air, you will determine require pressure based on the percent sag, the amount of full travel that the suspension compresses when the ride is on the bicycle in a normal riding position.

Commonly made up of a spring and a damper which work together to create a smooth rider experience, a metal coil spring can be found on lower-end versions or the occasional gravity-focused fork. When it comes to mountain bike suspension forks, you need to understand what dampers, air springs volume tokens and sag gradient do. After all, these parts are responsible for the way your fork performs. Gently step off the bicycle without compressing the fork any further. Note the sag percentage where the o-ring stopped. If necessary, readjust the air pressure to reach your target sag position.Torque Caps make the bond between hub and fork dropout stronger, with an increased surface area connecting the two. The one-piece magnesium lowers are tied together with a 15mm diameter Maxle, which offers a tools-free lever to remove the front wheel. Other features include post-mount brake tabs, and an integrated bolt-on cable guide for the front brake hose. The Judy Silver TK fork is OEM only, and uses cheaper steel upper tubes and a Turnkey damper. The Pike Select gets a more basic Charger RC damper, with easy-to-adjust low-speed compression and rebound. Sektor and Revelation - The Sektor and Revelation forks are essentially longer travel versions of the Reba and Recon forks, spanning travels of 130 to 150 mm. While they’re less durable and dampened than the Pike and Yari fork lines, they are ideal for less aggressive riders who want additional suspension travel. Boost is the standard wheel and drivetrain specification that opens the opportunity for improved frame geometry with shorter chain stays, wider and stiffer suspension pivots, wider range of chainring options, as well as more clearance for bigger Tyres and wider, stiffer wheels. Features The 30 series is a budget-friendly suspension fork with between 80 and 120 mm of travel. These forks use steel stanchions and coil springs, which makes them a bit heavy.Pike and Yari - The Pike and Yari fork series offer long travel – 140 to 160 mm – and are designed for a wide range of trail riding. Pike forks are somewhat lighter and more expensive than Yari forks, but both offer excellent adjustability so you can tailor them to any full suspension mountain bike.
