About this deal

For me, this is a pass. It isn't terrible but I'll take something with poor performance and better composition and respray that even though it is twice the price. Actually, when you factor in respraying it becomes 4 times the price. Hmm, maybe I danced between this and Halloween Shot for a few weeks before commiting. Halloween was right up the fragrance alley I’ve been dancing in. According to the main accords and the scent composition it seemed to appeal to me more than the flanker but I followed my instinct And bought a FB of SHOT and a sample of this. I am very pleased with the flanker and happy I didn’t buy the FB of the original Halloween. The dry down is warm sun tan lotion and smells of soft incense and myrrh with a light woodsy touch of sandal.

Quite true to the detailed descriptions by talented Fragrantica reviewers, this is a pretty but cheap, relatively simple unisex aquatic floral scent. The real similarity here contributing to the Frankenstein DNA courtesy of Salvatore F. Is the creamy dessert like texture. I wouldn’t reach for this if I was going on a date or going out at night, but for a day out this is an easy go-to. This may sound crazy but Halloween makes me feel like a water lily floating atop azure blue waters, soaking up warm sun rays, 15 minutes after a humid tropical downpour.I just had to test it again in double dose and on my own skin. So many of you had a completely different impression of him that I was skeptical if I tested the right scent..... This is as far from Halloween as one might find themselves. This is warm sunshine, crisp water, succulent blossoms, lush greenery. A beautiful tropical paradise teeming with new fresh life. A fragrance that I had my eye on for a while and bought a few months ago. 75ml are very cheap to have. Also the 125ml are very cheap. The pyramid was very tempting for me from the beginning. Tonka-Coffee-Cinnamon-Leather-Whisky-Cardamom-Amber. Sounds great. Is it? Yes. All the notes are not clearly scented, but all in all a very nice combination for the evening or the colder season. In the statements I read: No coffee available. For me the star of this creation, together in a duo with Tonka. For me, the coffee smells like freshly roasted coffee beans, to which this beautiful Tonka note fits perfectly. Tart coffee is a great counterpoint to the very sweet tonka-robe. In addition there are fine spices, whereby here the creation is harmonious and many individual notes cannot be smelled out. All in all, this coffee-tonka-spice mixture makes a great impression. A little bit of synthetics resonates, but is still stylish and especially people who like to wear sweet designer fragrances might like it. A crowdpleaser that would certainly go down well with the masses without smelling like one of many. I don't see the indicated fragrance twins as twins. Ferragamo Uomo is much sweeter and there you get Tiramisu instead of coffee. To list Ultra Male here as twins is of course totally wrong. For me this Man X is very unique with a lot of individuality. Especially well wearable for young modern men, coffee lovers, but also very well wearable by ladies. This coffee-tonka-mix is of course unisex-suitable.

Then I saw it being popular a few years ago with my floral loving friends and decided to watch from a distance. I ignored it because I felt I could never carry off something so floral. I usually go for very deep oriental or gourmands and leave the heavy flowers to the other women I know. Now its not popular among my friends and Ive never seen it mentioned anywhere. Take some burnt coffee and add heaping spoonfuls of sugar to make it drinkable. Now mix this with a couple sprays of LNDL and you have Halloween Man X. Smells synthetic but that helps to boost the performance. Doesn't smell anywhere near as well composed as LNDL but hey at least people will be able to smell this as YSL's L'Homme and La Nuit renowned for terrible performance. The original, a powerhouse bomb, smelled creamy and tarty to me, as on top of all the above-described notes I also detected sugar-coated roasted pumpkin. Yes, pumpkin. Maybe that’s why the perfume was named Halloween to begin with – I sincerely am quite certain of this particular note. EVERYTHING in perfumery has something synthetic. If you think a Tom Ford doesn't have synthetics, you are wrong. Perfumers are very good at creating accords. Sometimes they design them to be spot on and sometimes (purposely) to be a little off or different. aka "twist". Some essential oils are toxic and you do not want them on skin.. thank perfumers (chemists) for the synthetics. Some are IFAA regulated and illegal... thanks again to perfumers for exact synthetics so we can have these scents. Some are ridiculously expensive and hard to get... thanks AGAIN to perfumers for helping us get the same scent but much, much cheaper.

From candles, wax melts and oil diffusers through to room sprays, our Halloween fragrance oils can be used to make a whole host of scented delights. Our Halloween fragrance oils are especially ideal for candles, whether you’re making your own for around the home or want some Halloween-inspired candles to sell for your business. Our Halloween oils are all 100% concentrated, vegan, paraben-free and cruelty-free, coming in a range of sizes to suit your DIY or business needs. After the initial blast, ginger, green apple, cinnamon, frankincense, and the leather accord dominate. I'm a bit disturbed by the watery/ozonic note gliding along underneath- it lubricates and cools when I would prefer things to stay a bit warmer and drier. I suppose it was added to freshen the apple note, but I think this fragrance would do better if it was turned down more than a wee bit (especially as, in tandem with the white musk and fruity notes, it also keenly reminds me of "the B&B vibe"). But it's an interesting take on a fruity oriental, with leather, gourmand and basic fougere elements included as well, giving a nod to 80's powerhouses without venturing too far in that direction.
