Burberry Weekend is an EDT concentration and has average projection for the first 2 hours… then becomes more subtle. So many reviewers are saying that this fragrance is too harsh and too peppery, I find this fragrance more spicy than peppery. Perhaps it is just the way my nose perceives this fragrance. I also get a lot of violet and sweet, juicy fruits.

Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense smells nothing like the original Burberry Brit (which is a spicy powdery rose scent). The juniper adds a little bit of a fresh green edge to the soft peppery woods, and it’s… Light & Airy And also has good projection for up to 2 hours… then becomes more subtle and sits close to the skin. The bergamot, cardamom, and bellflower make a quintessentially British scent, reminiscent of both a classic cup of Earl Gray in the countryside and a spicy day out in London.Sidenote: Apparently, this is composed of 3 different varieties of high-quality cedar oils, from the mountainous regions of Atlas, the Himalayas, and the Appalachians. Hero contains a blend of 3 different high-quality cedarwood oils. The Beat is the latest feminine perfume from Burberry, and in keeping with the iconic brand's ongoing efforts to stay trendy and of the moment, it is aimed (what else is new) at a young audience: The Beat is remarkably versatile, part of Burberry’s revamp of their brand to reach a younger, hipper demographic while still appealing to their more classic and refined crowd.

Burberry Touch opens up with a blast of violet leaf mixed with a hint of citruses and pepper — to give you a semi-sweet, slightly powdery, clean soapy spicy vibe.

Therefore, it’s tailor-made for situations when you don’t want to offend other people around you, but you still want to have that fresh, clean, appealing confidence. So… Mr Burberry Indigo is an EDT and projects good for up to 2 hours… then becomes more subtle and sits close to the skin. Lasts about 6–7 plus hours.

When it starts to dry down… sweet cherry pipe tobacco and a leather, smoky woody vibe join the party — giving it a sweet, spicy, fruity green vibe. There is also an "Elixir Parfum" version. It's a richer scent, with a heavier concentration of iris (you can smell the iris as soon as you spray it on) and a deeper, smokier tea note. The bluebell is there but less prominent, and the base, while still largely pale and cool, is warmer and earthier. It isn't carnal or wild either, but nor is it young and cheerful and clean. Burberry the Beat is an EDT and has moderate projection… but be careful not to overspray. And in our tests, it lasted about 6-8 plus hours.The Beat is described as a sparkling floral woody fragrance; the notes feature bergamot, mandarin, Ceylon tea, cardamom, pink pepper, bluebell, iris, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. It starts very bright, with tart fruit and juicy citrus. There is lots of pink pepper (can anybody remember what perfumes smelled like before pink pepper became obligatory?) and a teensy little pinch of cardamom. The heart is sheer bluebell-ish florals, still very bright; the base is cool and pale and summery, and smoothed over with a smidgen of iris. The ad copy calls The Beat "carnal, slightly wild", but that is the usual nonsense — there is nothing even vaguely carnal about it. It smells young and cheerful and clean, and is a pretty good match with the mood of the print ad.
