I cannot wait to get my hands on the finished product, as I can only imagine how beautiful this book is going to be visually in it's final form. Alongside the exploration of the wild, we get two complicated mother-daughter relationships as the extremities of the trip increase the tensions over what is valued more. Leila and the Blue Fox is an easy recommendation for me; if you’ve read and loved Julia and the Shark , you’ll be sure to love Leila’s story aswell.They have been a couple and collaborators ever since, but Julia and the Shark was their first novel. Julia and her family are spending the summer at a remote lighthouse - her dad to work, and her mum to study the elusive Greenland shark which lives in the waters nearby.
