About this deal

He feels guilty when he tries to see Alex Aruda's test answers, because he knows that all his relatives see him when he cheats. Can he get his mom off his back by making a movie … and will he become rich and famous in the process? His mom thinks video games are turning his brain to mush, so she wnats her son to put down the controller and explore his "creative side". Greg talks incessantly about aliens, reality shows, dreams, his mother's classes at school, french horn lessons, Halloween parties, and oh yeah, making a movie to get rich quick.

Days later, while Greg is forced by Frank to sort and clean the cabinet that fell, Rowley gains fame from the local news after the movie-making incident, to Greg's annoyance and the rejection of any statements that he had made at the beginning of the book regarding fame. The Wimpy Kid books are certainly written with elementary and middle schoolers in mind, but I still enjoy them. Greg then talks about in the 3rd grade, Greg wrote a poem, and sent it to the National Poetry Council, but turns out that everyone can have the poems in the book. After the party, Greg loses interest in playing the French horn, but is made to play in a school concert by his father Frank.Greg later discusses how the Spinetickler's books give him nightmares and how he regrets reading them, like the dream he got a tail and people were jealous of him.

Greg still goes to the school and is struck in the onset of teenage where he's not yet into girls, crushes and stuff. He and Rowley, while filming it with Susan and Frank's camera, Greg tries to get more worms from the laundry room to get more, but the pig is eating them. The humor felt a bit more stale here than in Kinney's other releases, and this story suffers a lot from lack of an overarching theme, but it's okay.Hopefully Kinney keeps his humor in his next book, but creates a stronger and more interesting plot. He is a six-time Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award winner for Favorite Book and has been named one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Usually the humor is always great in this series but I could not see any funny humor in this book, I never thought anything was funny and I thought it was just poorly written. Wheadon of Common Sense Media wrote that "when Kinney sticks to his Halloween theme, the story feels fresh and holds together well.

His mum thinks video games are turning his brain to mush, so she wants her son to put down the controller and explore his "creative side". After Greg spreads gummy worms in the yard for a scene, he sees the pig eating the gummy worms in the house. The introduction to Greg's diary begins with a bit of humour and wild imagination (which I had many when I was kid). Can he get his mom off his back by making a movie… and will he become rich and famous in the process?

As if that's not scary enough, Halloween is just around the corner and the frights are coming at Greg from every angle. We use Google Analytics to see what pages are most visited, and where in the world visitors are visiting from. During a playdate at Maddox's house, Greg retrieves his balloon, and realizes that Maddox is not allowed to use electronics and spends his time playing with Legos. We are experiencing delays with deliveries to many countries, but in most cases local services have now resumed. Greg remembers about Rodrick having a wolf mask he wore one Halloween, and he and Rowley go to the basement room to get it while trying to, the witch goes off and one of the shelves comes falling down on them.
