About this deal

I am dissapointed to hear that you managed to vibrate one apart 3 times, thats pretty bad, would you say you were using it alot though, i. Since opening it up, the motor also seems to get stuck a bit, making that noise when you stall a drill. I found this review not helpful because using it to cut the bottom of many, many metres of skirting boards is optimistic at best! So this tool is of great help to all those who are engaged in the housing construction industry or amateurs who love it. I’ve had plenty of time to experiment and what I’ve noticed is that if you push very firmly the fuzz doesn’t get ripped off any where nearly as fast as if you just lightly touch the sander to the work.

Looking on the web I found a common fault was the crimped connection from the coil windings to the motor board. The Bosch PMF 180 E has a variable control switch to control the oscillations between 15,000 and 20,000 per minute.Has anyone found that when using this multi-tool by Bosch that the screw that holds blades has a tendency to work loose when being used? I know a replacement isn't very expensive, but if some brushes will fix it I'd give it a go - such a shame to chuck it on the scrapheap! You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. I have used the small wood saw attachment to cut through the skirting boards in my house (I was installing some built in robes) and through the cornice as well. The result of that was that I had to use the apex sanding attachment to get some of the mitres to join correctly and that was a somewhat laborious process.

The better your problem and question is described, the easier it is for other Bosch owners to provide you with a good answer. Bosch measuring instruments - tools for professionals and DIY‘ers, which help to get flat surfaces, measure distances, angles and slopes, and to find hidden objects. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). Operating on an input power of 180 watts, the Bosch PMF 180 E grinder derives its power from an AC source, offering convenience and versatility in various work environments. Finally, each new sanding sheet somehow damages the pad, after a dozen or so sheets the pad is pretty much ruined. Dismantled it to find brushes not worn out but in poor condition a small carbon disk from god knows where.

The problem is that after a couple of minutes sanding the sheet begins to become detached from the pad and after about 5 minutes it falls of. I have to admit that the reason it’s getting a review now is because I want to have a rant about one aspect of the tool which is absolute rubbish. Its suited to vertical cuts to remove sections of skirtingboards or the bottom of trims, architraves etc. For DIY use this is a great piece of kit and when you get one you will wonder how you ever lived without it.As I’ve owned a Bosch PMF 180 E Multifunction Tool for a few years now I thought it was about time to give it a review.
