They are trying to live with it as best as they can and forge meaningful friendships and relationships. What ensues is an unusual love story set amongst a road trip, destined to become essential viewing for those who adore a bloody affair. This is what rests at the heart of the narrative as Maren struggles with the shameful acts that place her and, those like her, in exile. The actor is a perfect chameleon and here the BFG and Bing star gives a performance that is the personification of chilling.

The cast also includes Mark Rylance, André Holland, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jessica Harper, and Chloë Sevigny. kindred spirits; those who share her cannibalistic urges but have, in some respects, learned to "live with themselves". As ugly and bloody as the subject matter in the film may be, his photography and blocking is absolutely gorgeous. Bones and All definitely takes to road less traveled which makes it worth checking out for discerning genre fans.
