I'm a dude trying to get in to Spiderman comics (in 10 yrs I'll be middle age, im probs too old for this but whatever.

Yu is an awkward loner who has self-doubt and finds himself in over his head a lot, but tries his best to do the right thing and save lives despite the personal cost and disruption it causes in his own life. All in all, this is a MUCH better Spider-Man story then the current Amazing Spider-Man run, even though this doesn't even feature the real Spider-Man much.The criminals try to speed up their car, and are in the process of hitting an old lady crossing the street.

During the battle with Venom, Yu is able to give his mask to the stunned Venom, reminding him of who he is. We start off with a very tired, defeated, sad looking Spiderman, dropping and throwing away his suit in an alley. It also includes unique character designs that give Spidey’s Rogue Gallery a feel of nostalgia and a shōnen touch, a nod to Toei’s approach to Spider-Man (No, I’m not saying this has Giant Robots, but it has the same sense of wonder that we have come to love about the webhead.Sure, having an Asian-American kid involved in the world is cool, but why do there need to be so many guys in the suit? Still, with the real Spider-Man nowhere to be found, the city needs someone to save it… (simonandschuster, n,d). THEN the narrative begins to explore the reason for the genuine Spider-Man's disappearance, and one of his trusty A-list villains finally arrives on the scene to reveal his diabolical plot as well as mistaking Yu for his intended target.

While feeling slightly heartbroken by the news, Yu lends his support to Emma and is satisfied with having her as a best friend. Liar Revealed: Yu thinks this'll be a problem if Emma finds out he isn't really Spider-Man, worrying that it'll make her want nothing to do with him. Mistaken Identity: Emma notices that Yu has bandages on his arm in the exact same spots that "Spider-Man" got hurt while rescuing her from carjackers the day before. In the comic panel where Spider-Man is swinging off, in the upper right corner there is graffiti of Iron Man's helmet. Even though he is out of his element, Yu has to rise out of the dark depths of his despair and save the City from whoever threatens it.The premise is an average teen (who rock climbs, so maybe not THAT average) happens upon Spidey's suit and dons it, with the predictable results. He spends his spare time at the rock climbing gym, where he feels the most like his idol, Spider-Man.
