Other than that, salt also works as an emulsion stabilizer in water-in-oil emulsions, that is when water droplets are dispersed in the outer oil (or silicone) phase. Plus, let’s “face” it—I’m a sucker for marketing and I’m afraid to put anything on my face that doesn’t explicitly state that it’s designed for my face.
