About this deal

It personally didn't impact me and for normal play it seems fine, but I had to boost the controller deadzones in Steam controller settings just a bit -- the rest position is 0,0 in wired xbox 360 mode, but slightly off from that as a Switch Pro controller. I'll be holding ZR and pressing other buttons (Jumping, swimming, open the map) then when I let go of ZR it's still being registered as held down.

The controller this is replacing needed some shenanigans to work as an Xbox controller for titles outside of Steam, this one just presents itself as an Xbox controller in the first place and no extra steps are needed to get it working in everything. The case also provides moderate protection so if you h And since it is translated to English, that means the controllers originate from China, and GuliKit lets you know clearly as the box itself is littered with Chinese lettering from back to front. If it's the choice between a Xbox 360 controller emulation and Xb1/elite, I think I'm glad they went with the former for compatibility with older titles out of the box, but they should have scrapped the Dinput mode in favor of a mode that supports back paddles. Also, while the L and R shoulder buttons have traditional digital inputs, the ZL and ZR have the option of analog triggers, something I sorely miss as a Gamecube baby.I really want to see gyro and back buttons in first party controllers even if it means releasing a plug-in pack (Xbox). Fortunately the controller appears very easy to disassemble (4 main screws visible on the housing, none of the crazy xbone tear off your fingernails to get inside nonsense), and you can take that off I assume with some isopropyl or something. That slight decrease in weight with the premium materials feels fantastic, and the analog sticks are clearly designed to take a beating.

The controller feels a bit bigger but comfortable with the texture I don't feel greasing playing long sessions or multiple days. I have communicated with them through their Facebook page and they have ALWAYS responded eventually and always taken my feedback to heart. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Most controllers do not start to drift until quite a few months into their life, if not a couple of years, so truly testing this controller will be a long review. This KingKong 2 Pro switch pro controller will shuts down in case of no button action in 10 minutes. It comes in a nice plastic case that really helps if you want to take a controller with you in your bag.

I wouldn’t know, I wasn’t a game developer in the 7th Console Generation, and would need the opinion of an industry veteran. Im using this controller on pc and works a treat no thumstick drift what so ever unlike most other pads. Even after multiple reports and class-action lawsuits, the issue persists in first-party manufacturer’s controllers from Nintendo’s Joy-Cons to the Xbox One Elite. The controller can switch between XInput mode, Switch mode, Mobile mode and DirectInput mode by holding down the mode button for 2 seconds. That said, Microsoft’s official gamepad is a reliable pick with an iconic design and top-tier ergonomics, especially if you shell out for the Elite series which also adds rear paddles. With joysticks that won't suffer stick drift, a plethora of connectivity options, a sleek (if familiar) design, tons of customization options, and even amiibo support, the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro may lack fancy software and accessories, but it delivers on quality, versatility, and hides a few tricks to help you "cheat" your way to victory.
