Extremely expensive in South America, 2018 batch, it's a very interesting fragrance with multiple layers but sadly on my skin it seems to rush towards the base notes with dramatic speed and lose all sparkle very quickly.

Still, for comparative purposes, I can say that L'Eau Super Majeure D'Issey presents, immediately, what the previous version only delivered after an hour on the skin. L'Eau Majeure D'Issey was launched in the international market in 2017 and arrived in the Brazilian market in March 2018.

L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey for men is a perfume of movements that seems to be shaped by the course of the water when this natural element meets wood, minerals, and terrestrial plants. It’s not another typical aquatic mass pleasing fragrance but rather absolutely signature unique aromatic scent with bold salty sea vibe and dark and woody aroma. A men's fragrance inspired by the might of the sea, L'EAU MAJEURE D'ISSEY reinvented Issey Miyake's pioneering aquatic note for the 21st century. This is a great summer filler, smells good and still gives off a sillage on the buss ride from work.

Here we feel a very tasty bitter touch, which I particularly love a lot, and it is combined with marine notes, yes, if you don't like saline notes in perfumes, run away from it, because Super Majeure D'Issey not only sends you to the beach like L'Eau Majeure, but it makes you submerge yourself in the ocean and leave with the marine scent of that place. This version, in my opinion, looks very little like the first Majeure, this one is darker, colder and more mature, and the previous one was sweeter, fruitier, amber and more youthful.

Such a strong, salty, briny, fresh, aquatic but not one youd imagine at the beach, more like the deep dark ocean somewhere far away from civilization where unknown sea creatures linger, where its always dark, and theirs lots of sea moss growing on large jagged rocks below, where the decay of the ocean and its organisms sink. This also came out two years before Acqua di Gio Profondo, just like the classic LDPH Intense version with it's earthier, darker take on the original LDPH (which itself came out two years before the original ADG), came out before the aforementioned ADG Profumo. Its clean, aquatic side seems to take its stylistic lead from the Acqua Di Gio DNA -- not unlike L'eau Bleue d'Issey, which is a very nice spin on AdG with a rosemary/juniper punch. This gift set includes a 125ml EDT, a 15ml EDT, and a 200ml body spray, all featuring a captivating scent that will leave a lasting impression.

The heart indulges a dark patchouli note alongside amber woods, a strong cashmeran note and a rush of sea notes. Initially, this scent mixes and u can get urine, like toilets of a swimming pool, just in-between the layers of other notes. EDIT: After a trip to the beach, this smells like a cliff of black rocks with waves crashing against it during a cooler sunset (I would love if this was even lesser sweet, but it is not cloying nor really sweet, it is just mildly sweet).

It was also the first male perfume in the L'Eau D'Issey collection to receive the new packaging, with a curved finish bottle that, if seen from the side, is similar to the female version (Pure line). If the performance is better in warm weather, I can easily see this being a "night out" fragrance for me.I don’t know that I can say that absolutely everybody will like this, but it’s definitely worth a look. I will say, however, that this will definitely pop the most when it's hot out with those aquatic, minerally notes. Sometimes the ambergris note is turned way up, to make a fragrance last longer (Light blue Intense) and that doesn't work for me.
