About this deal

However it was just enough to let me still keep my attention to it, maybe cause of the way it's balanced with the mandarin orange in the top.

Still smells very fresh during the dry down, but I feel more like I'm walking in a forest now and not relaxing at the beach. To my nose thos smells like a higher quality original LB, with added JUICY lemon, not necessarily tart. The opening was a nice, understated lemon - which was awesome - I really didn't need another citrus bomb like Italian Love (Grapefruit) or Neroli Portofino (Lemon bathroom cleaner. Scent really feels like after shower and clean, but for a summer fragrance I smelled a lot better than this one.I wouldn't compare this to ADG Profondo, they really don't occupy the same niche in my opinion, with this being a bit more light overall. It is still vaguely sweet and somewhat pleasant, but the saltiness stings my nose and gives me a bit of a headache. Apertura fuerte de alcohol como a perfume ordinario, despues en el secado no se que tan bien se van las notas de mar y el juniper. The first time I smelled this fragrance I was a little unsure, I liked it but couldn't completely decide. It starts off with a wonderful citrus grapefuit blast that projects nicely and progresses into a slightly musky, marine aroma which sits closer to the skin but stays on there for more than enough time.

It exudes an air of timeless freshness and evokes memories of languid summer days spent on Mediterranean beaches. The new batch Dec 2021 smells more natural and closer to the original Light Blue but has weak projection and I can barely detect it 3 hours later. This fragrance feels incredibly basic and uninteresting, making it hard to believe it was even launched. Short, stout, and dense; the transparent light blue flacon houses the selected scent topped by a powder blue cap. Its pretty good, but not special nor unique at all (which says a lot since I rarely talk about uniqueness). So if you get this and think you don't like it, make sure to try layering it with others before you shelve or sell it.

The lemon and the amberwood reminds me a lot of Acqua di Gio Absolu Instinct, it's a summery(er) version of Absolu Instinct with the ebonywood or darker elements it has. While I have used many Light Blue variants in the past this is the only one that I own, and I give it an 8/10 assuming that you don't already have Light Blue. I was surprised that I liked it so much, because of all the hate reviews I saw, I did not expect this at all. This is by far one of the best designer fresh scents, which has a unique blend of marine and salty notes with an amazing grapefruit note. However the projection and longevity is very lacking with it wearing off on my skin within 3 hours although my friends have had it last longer.

This is meant for summer, but unlike the extremely interesting and well-made Light Blue Pour Homme Sun (2019), doesn't explicitly scream "summertime" and really doesn't communicate anything, nor will really stand out anymore. I like this scent a lot apart from it being headache inducing and what seems to be a neverending sharpness or harshness to it that doesn't calm down. To me it was cloying - not in an over the top way but it's not something I'd want to be around on a hot summer day - too ambery-sickly sweet for my liking. It's the first flanker that finally almost managed to get close to the original light blue before the formulation change.

This one is definitely in the Light Blue familly, but I would consider this more a cousin rather than a brother.Normally I’m not interested in masculine fragrances , but I was looking something “blue, aquatic and salty “ to layer with floral, airy and velvety perfumes. I layered it with Versace Man Eau Fraiche and Lacoste Essential and the compliments were, better than great, simply amazing. r/fragrance is an inclusive, adult community for discussing finished retail perfumes and other scented personal and home-care products. The blend of citruses with sea notes and herbal tones makes this a supremely appealing clean and vibrant scent for all occasions. If you like blue generic fragrances just for the sake of smelling good, with a bit more longevity, this one's for you.
