About this deal

After an explosive case that forced Tony Hill and Carol Jordan to reassess everything they thought they knew about right and wrong, both are dealing with the fallout in their own separate ways. The format, with police transcripts, texts and evidence , adds a unique touch, making it an easy yet thrilling read. That’s because you’re a judgmental prepubescent boy who still thinks little people live inside traffic lights. Ravi has always been convinced of Sal's innocence as well, and so he teams up with Pippa and their bond becomes a really wonderful part of the story. She’d only been half listening, distracted by the way the rplacement coach had stared at her, uncertain, when she’d pointed out which of the nine-year-olds was hers and said: “I’m Josh’s sister.

This is a book where you check the time at night and know you should be going to sleep cause you need to get up in the morning and if you don’t go to sleep like RIGHT NOW you’re going to be a grumpy pants in the morning. If that doesn't work, there may be a network issue, and you can use our self test page to see what's preventing the page from loading. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson is a bestselling YA crime thriller series that makes for compulsive reading - perfect for fans of One Of Us is Lying, We Were Liars and the Serial podcast. High school senior Pippa Fitz-Amobi remembers how kind Sal was, and she thinks he may have been innocent; via her senior project, she aims to prove it. Peers are good points of contact to establish other important leads—you know, any secret boyfriends, that sort of thing. However, it did include some swearing and teenagers getting drugged so I do recommend people 13+ unless if you're a mature reader under 13 who love reading books about murder mystery.

Perfect for fans of One of Us Is Lying, Gone Girl, We Were Liars and Riverdale Holly Jackson started writing stories from a young age, completing her first (poor) attempt at a novel aged fifteen.I did enjoy the book however, so if your under 15 I highly recommend waiting a few years, and if your at that age I still think you should use your best judgment on if this book is right for you.

It very much feels like we as readers are piecing the puzzle together concurrently with Pippa, which makes it all the more exciting to read. Having grown up in the small town that was consumed by the crime, Pippa Fitz-Adeleke chooses the case as the topic for her final project. Ravi Singh, younger brother to alleged murderer Sal, is an outcast to Little Kilton along with the rest of his family, forever stained by their brother's assumed guilt. The dog skidded elatedly across the polished oak in the hall, excitement whistling through his teeth. An addictive must-read mystery with shades of Serial and Making a Murderer about an investigation turned obsession, full of twists and turns and with an ending you'll never expect.

Pip: Um, so, if the missing person is seventeen years old and it is deemed out of character for her to go missing, would that be considered an at-risk case? Inquiries will be made, because if the missing person has run away, they are likely to be hiding out with someone close to them. Anyone who grew up adoring Nancy Drew will love these high-stakes mysteries and the student sleuths striving to solve them. She left home in her car—a white Honda Civic—with her cell phone, but did not take any clothes with her. If you love true crime, murder mysteries, and unstoppable young women, this is the perfect easy-read thriller.

Holly Jackson started writing stories at a young age, completing her first (poor) attempt at a novel when she was fifteen. Someone out there doesn’t want Pip to solve the case, threatening her to stop and is putting her life in danger.

This totally suits me, I’ve watched a whole heap of crime TV series (Elementary, Bone, NCIS) so guessing the bad guy is part of the fun with murder mysteries. Team up with these brilliant minds when you pick up these Young Adult Mysteries and Thrillers featuring teens trying to survive their academic (and extracurricular) challenges. Now a senior herself, Pip decides to reexamine the closed case for her final project, at first just to cast doubt on the original investigation.
