About this deal

There are some great twists along the way, and I also appreciated that the big reveal happened earlier on, allowing more progression regarding how this affected the characters involved, keeping you fully invested in their individual developments. Optional Extra - Have your items come hand wrapped in brown paper packaging tied up with string and with their very own North East tourist tip. the murderer was never caught and Mel has never given up trying to find who murderer her sister: she feels guilty for having taken her out on the night of her death. But 18 books later, Ryan and Anna's relationship is still going strong and I began to enjoy their chemistry much more easily. I liked the idea of having the main character of the author’s Alexander Gregory Thrillers series pop up in DCI Ryan’s latest cases.

Bamburgh was super special - I spent a lot of my childhood up there so I could picture absolutely everything perfectly. Then another body turns up amongst the sand dunes at the base of the mighty castle fortress, and he decides it can't be a coincidence.

in what’s now a hugely successful series for Ross, is yet another good addition to the ongoing story of Ryan, his wife, Anna, his investigative team, Frank and his wife, Denise, Melanie and Jack… or, it would be, except I have one small gripe. Meanwhile, after a recent revelation about her sister, DC Melanie Yates quest to avenge her death is becoming an obsession much to the concern of those around her. From the moment LJ Ross’s marvellous series about aristocratic copper DCI Ryan and his close-knit team appeared, I’ve been a huge fan. Concomitant with the hunt for Gemma’s killer (who is suspected to have left behind a string of victims over years), is the investigation into the suspicious death of a wealthy and popular old woman who owns a great deal of property and has left it to one of her loyal workers. i’d love to see a book that doesn’t focus on past enemies coming to “attack” the found-family they have built between them.

LJ Ross is such a natural storyteller than you can’t help but become completely involved and engrossed in the lives of her characters. Melanie is driven to identify this killer and bring him to justice and while the professional in her demands this occur, it’s far personal reasons that provide her motivation and give her cause to be deceptive.Optional extra – have your items hand wrapped in brown paper packaging tied up with string and with their very own North East tourist tip. LJ Ross is an internationally bestselling author, whose books have sold over 7 million copies worldwide.
