I would go to school and come back 8 hours later and still get compliments when I got home with the EDT) The opening is slightly toned down, but you obviously do still get the lemon, and no pineapple. The lack of subtlety further detracts from the overall appeal of the fragrance, making it unsuitable for those seeking a refined and nuanced scent experience. Is it really that bad that I should spend extra on the De Nuit Intense Limited Edition for a smoother blend?

This is a real world compliment getter, despite owning lots of niche fragrances that get friends saying nice fragrance, this will get complete strangers commenting. That stuff actualy lasts 6-8 hours aswell so combined will have you keep the fresher Pine apple note longer. Yes, the pure parfum doesn't have the extreme lemony opening of the edt and I hate the smell of lemon.The EDT blew me away with it's dry down and longevity, but the harsh lemon cleaning product opening disappointed me. You can also pick up any citrus heavy fragrance from a supermarket and some people couldn't tell the difference. I have a friend going through this very merry go round (he's new to fragrance) at the moment, and it's almost painful to watch. However, obviously it’s expensive, so this will be my new replacement for Aventus for things like that, or just less casual stuff. It seems strange (and I do have a variety of other fragrances) but these ones give me a bit of an energy boost.

For it to be a true clone it needs more Pineapple, oak moss, vanilla and less of birch and def less of lemon. The scent changes and the performance gets better after spending some time on the shelf, and now I'm in love with CDNIM. Don’t take that sleepless night to watch videos and read reviews to decide on which to get or how the performance is on any.Not worth it, has a very harsh start, and as it dries down it’s not that impressive, you might get a lot of hate from this. To me, although definitely in the same realm, it doesn't smell that much like Aventus, but that's a good thing. Projection is mild for that honestly just go for the EDT but I would much rather have a mild projecting long lasting quality perfume than a high projection short lasting perfume that smells harsher or like alcohol.

I will let CDNIM Pure Parfum sit and macerate for a month and see how it has improved in performance/sillage/scent/lasting power. The lemon note while synthetic has a familiar profile that is likable for many people and blends well with the other fruits. Dry-down is where you will spend most of your time with the fragrance, its Sweet-o-Musk-o-Nutty experience that will last easily 12 hours. The opening at club di nuit is harsher than Aventus, but when you get into the dry down, most people who pass you by will not know the difference. Projection: The projection on the other hand is relatively sad, this is the biggest letdown of this fragrance is the sillage/projection.I tried to scrub it off with soap and water so that it wasn't overbearing while at work, but man was this stuff persistent! I really haven't smelled aventus in my life till now but if aventus really smells like this, then goddamn. The comments on here where I'm writing this has many comments that don't even belong and Fragrantica here don't have all the releases right.
