I don't really see why my laptop would not give the e1659Fwu enough power when it has more than enough to run the previous model. But with everything else being equal, which should you choose - a 144Hz monitor, or one that's even faster?
Simply installing Display Link software on the PC or Mac allows you to easily add multiple USB monitors for external displays without unnecessary extra hardware.
