I really like that you don’t need any special artistic skills to use the pen, it has been designed with all levels of ability in mind. I still feel It is good value for the kit that is included, it is a unique concept and good for children to be creative. The Activity Guide has 10 step-by-step projects, but it shows you how to get started and goes through the techniques for using and making the most of the 3D Pen. It takes a bit of getting used to when you start using the 3Doodler Start Essential Pen Set, you need to remember to press the orange button again when you want the flow of plastic to stop, and if you want your design to stick to paper then you press down on the surface.The plastic filaments used to mould the intricacies of you or your child’s imagination into a tangible design cools into a solid object near to instantly – so that your child will literally be drawing in the air without any conventional confines – inspiring refreshing innovation and the ability to think outside of the box.
